I just paid 160 for me and my girl to go see Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood. well worth every fuckin penny! but i wish tix were cheaper for sure.

my first real concert was Tech back in 2003. it was by far the best 12 bucks i ever spent!! them days are long gone though..

I disagree. I've heard live tracks, and they were pretty good from what Ive heard.

What I've paid for concerts [not including Music Midtown 97, 98, and 99]

18 - Atmosphere + Blueprint + Abstract Rude + Dj Rare Groove
12 - Murs + Rapper Big Pooh + Chaundon + Kidz In The Hall
20 - Twiztid + Boondox + Bizarre + DJ Clay + Bankrupt Records + Project Born

Going To Pay In The Near Future

14 - (hed) P.E. + Mushroomhead + Supe + Straight Line Stitch
33 - Three Day Pass for A3C (Rakim, Killer Mike, B.o.B., People Under The Stairs, and 20 other shows)

It's not worth $40 to see him, when you've seen him more than once.
I COMPLETELY DISGREE!

If your a broke ass, then go eat your ramen noodles and jack-off at home. ill be at a Tech show gettin fucked up drinkin $10 Crown and cokes all night by the bar.

Go get a job so you can have money to enjoy some things in life...

LOL How many times have you seen Tech N9ne? Go and spend a weeks pay on a concert. It's not that I don't have money to go see him again, I don't want to. That's like going to the same movie 20 times.

I wonder how much longer Tech can squeeze a show into the Granada. I like the venue but its only a matter of time now that hes going to out grow it IMO

Ill try to be there tho

Where else would he play in Lawrence?
Liberty Hall

*EDIT* Wrong place lol... hold on a sec so I can remeber the name

Lied Center is what I was thinking of. Its a fairly big venue. I think they normally only have plays and musicals there so I dont see it happening anytime soon but the size is right IMO

Just to get an idea of the stage size and set up I found this vid on youtube

one weeks pay? maybe for you workin at McDonalds.

I have seen Tech 20 times now since 2003. i like to go to as many as i can. i love to see the same tour at different venues. there is always a different vibe in any city i go to. i have seen him in like 7 different cities and multiple different venues, and its always different then any other show ive seen.

i have attended many different shows not just Tech, including rap and many other genres of music. from 311 to snoop, eric clapton to nelly i have been to many concerts. i enjoy spending my "hard-earned money" on going to see a good live show. nothing compares in my opinion.

Paid $75 for Ozzfest '06. That show was the shit!
I paid like half of that for the same show.

Jared you're missing my point man. I could be rich and wouldn't want to go to the same show. I usually go with my girl and if we drink, you do the math. I've done it for years. It's getting played out to me. Once a year will be good for me.

i hear ya, im getting old myself. im not hatin, i just enjoy the shows. i have been to 8 KMK shows. i was never a fan, my friends were though. i went, got wasted as fuck and always had a great time. i will never pay to see them again, that shit is played out to me. but Tech for instance, i could see him perform every week and never would i get tired of it. its just the energy he brings to the stage, keeps bringing me back as often as i can
