How is it stupid? The album was already floating around before it was put up on Myspace for someone to do a web-rip like they did for Feature Presentation. It's promotion for the album however. How many people are going to go to Myspace and go to sign in to look over and see Tech's album premiere listed on the Music tab. Or, look over the Music page and see Tech's album premiere mixed in with Rihanna's single premiere and the like?

It's an opportunity to draw the attention of people who aren't fans that may be willing to give the album a chance. Some may argue it helps in combating the effects of the leak too, but I'll let them try and make that argument.

Gave it a couple listens last night and WOW. Tech, this is straight fire mane. BY FAR tops Killer and Sickology for sure. KOD the song is just CLASSIC Tech at its best. Murdered that along with Demons. Those are my top 2 off the album. But the entire album is tha shit. Somethin you can cruise in your car bumpin or chill out at your home getting fucked up listenen to. Amazing work from Tech.

Is it as good as Anghellic? I wouldnt go that far, but its like a nose behind. A classic is a classic and its hard to top a classic. Anghellic I think will forever be the TECH N9NE album. But this along with AP and Everready are all above par classic albums in their own right. Each album I love for different reasons, but this album will be something we will be lookin back on for years to come Im sure. Really happy Tech finally went back to to OG shit and did what he knows. FTI Tech just do you.

As far as FDC goes, you guys already know that lil faggits like that just feed off attention. Honestly just DO NOT respond to anything he says, if he writes a comment reguardless of how fucked up or stupid it is and how bad you wanna just shut him down, just IGNORE it. Skip over it as if it was never posted and keep goin with the regular discussion. Trust me, he wont stick around for long if nobody responds to any of his comments. The more you fight back the longer the pointless bullshit will last. And im sure he will comment on this, Ill just get it out of the way now cuz I wont respond to shit he says, EAT SHIT FDC and go fuck urself bitch.

"KOD" = Best Album of 2009

Here's My Two Cents...

"Pinocchiho" is amazing. Tech as a cannibal, with that accent he uses it reminds me of what Eminem was doing on "Relapse." In an eerie way, I can see how "Relapse" influenced "KOD" in a way.

I listened to the entire album 9 times over now. Loved it all.

The only thing that I found out of place (and kinda stupid) is Kaliko singing the end credits at the end of "The Martini." I mean, I get the whole "movie" idea but is that fuckin' necessary?

Who is Jason Whitlock btw?

Overall, Tech N9ne is one of the greatest MC's of all time and "KOD" solidifies his position. The guests accentuate the album, rather than over populate it and the skits are very well placed, creative and balanced. "Shadows On The Road" is brilliant, I know most of us have had similar experiences late at night. "In The Trunk" and "Blackened The Sun" lived up to their snippets (and exceeded them). This is a 5 out of 5 release.

Top 10 Albums (So Far, IMHO) of 2009

Tech N9ne "KOD"
Eminem "Relapse"
Raekwon "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Part 2"
Slaughterhouse "Slaughterhouse"
The Alchemist "Chemical Warfare"
Twista "Category F5"
La Coka Nostra "A Brand You Can Trust"
Kid CuDi "Man On The Moon: The End of Day"
Drake "So Far Gone" (Not the EP, I know it was a mixtape, but it was dope)
KRS-One and Buckshot "Survival Skills"

I'm sure "Relapse 2" will be up there too.

Thank you Tech. Can't wait for the KOD show next week in ABQ

jason whitlock writes for the kansas city star newspaper and has always hated on tech...there is an older tech song (cant think of the name now like 10 years old) were tech calls him out
