If they were DC's or some shit, yes, they would be skater shoes. But AF1's? there has never been a point in time that AF1's were considered skater shoes. yes, personally, I've never been an AF1 fan. they are good shoes and all, but not something I would wear. I wear Adidas.

The 1st AF1 was a basketball shoe and the 1st to use nike Air Technology released in 1982-83 in the high-top form and later released in the mid and low forms

they are nothing like, have near the same history or are in the same category as ''skater shoes''

I love AF1's cause they look clean and thats what the custom culture fucks wit anyone who knows customs knows that. If you want some kicks i put up the URL in a other post you can't get the same thing cause there exclusives but he'll work wit ya cost about $300
