I would say its easy to make a beat.....but its hard to be original....and grow going against popular beat Fads that going around....If you really care about the sound that make your beat "YOUR SOUND" you will want to come original even if it cost you opportunites to make an album.... its a science.. good luck

Thanks for the advice, D. I've tried making beats on FLStudio demo, but never took it too serious.

I did notice I had a tendency to make beats that were progressive, as opposed to looping. They were like old school 90's Southern beats, but they just kept going non-linear.
