- Eminem is a cash cow who seems to have gotten his shit straight so that means more cash . I think were gonna get a heavy dose of Eminem in the near future & D-12 is nowhere to be found - why not add some strange music acts . ??????

Tech likes cash - go where the money is !

I don't think Lynch would be recruited though / just my opinion

Agreed! Back then, a collab would be hella sick. Now, I'm not in the mood to hear an uplifting Tech/Em track. I would cry!

since em is sober & tech is out of his 'darkness' i don't see why the hell not
I think the exact opposite. A dark Em/Tech track would be dope as shit. Anything outside of that would suck serious ass probably. I mean if it wasn't dark, it'd have to at least be lyrical as shit. The best collab would have been if they coulda got Em on "My World" like they said. That woulda been EPIC.

If Tech finally gets Eminem to rap him with a feature like this, that'll be retarded.

But I don't think that'll happen
Tech does want to prove himself against Em. The whole being in the light thing is bullshit, Tech can make a serious track whenever he wants. He'd do one if Eminem was game.

This has been the goal for Strange Music since "Absolute Power".. I'd say they (Trav and Tech) get a hold of Paul and Em and see what the fuck would it take to do this... If Trav can afford a fuckin' Maybach, then he could shell out the "guestimated" $50,000 to $100,000 on this track... It would instantly catapult Tech (and Strange) where they deserve to be on rap's modern "A-DD" radar...

Agree or disagree that's how I see it..

If Em can do a track with Kan-gay, Fake and Lil' Brain.. then why the fuck not?

Yeah having Em on a track would be phenomenal for Tech, he would get hella exposure, and they should def. make a video for it if it happens, that would help even more. But damnit the song better be epic.

my statement was meant to be taken sarcastically; hence the smiley face, regardless i do agree with you that a dark em & tech track would be dope shit but i also believe it's an unobtainable dream, at least right now, considering em is sober and tech is in his 'happy place' :cheeky:

I honestly don't feel that Eminem being on a track would SKYROCKET Tech anywhere. Sure, it would be amazing. Sure it would bring Tech more fans. But...when it comes to both beats and features...Strange weighs out their options. They don't want to spend 10,000 for a beat from a well-known mainstream producer when they can get the same quality for cheaper and gain the same results. It's the same with features. Would they really want to spend 50,000 for a fuckin feature? Plus, they'd have to put up even more money to have Em in a video. Why do you think all Strange videos are solo tracks or tracks with other Strange artists featured. All it would do is show that Eminem is down with Tech. It would help, but I honestly don't think it would do much more than Tech has already done on his own. Maybe back in the day, when Eminem didn't collab with anybody outside of his camp...but now, I can see him doing a collab with anybody that puts up the cash. And that's one reason why I don't like Eminem much anymore. He's conforming.

I find it hard to believe Tech has to be "in a dark" place to make a dark song.

Sickology wasn't really dark, then all of a sudden, he's in a dark place and makes KOD, and now several months later he's fine again making GMP? LuLz.

He's a creative artist, so if he wants to write a dark track, then he can do it. He doesn't have to be in a dark place to come up with some cool ass shit...same with Em.

That statement isn't really accurate anymore, given they've reportedly done a video for Jumpin' Jax which has Stevie Stone on the track.
Well, let me re-phrase it then....Why do you think they only do vids for solo tracks or tracks that feature Strange artists, underground artists or artists that aren't of a higher caliber than themselves? Better? :cheeky:

Because the videos they make are just for fun. Its obvious that since they refuse to pay for radio play that spending money to make videos with super stars in them would be pointless since the videos wont go any further than MTV2 and YouTube.

Why do you guys want "dark" music so much? it would be a waste to do a song with Em that had subject matter that couldnt be played on radio. A lyrical track with some good word play and quick spit could be damn good. By the way some of u need to listen to Em's new shit again, I dont give a shit about the hooks, he is eatin most of the cats he has on his tracks, and that slaughterhouse song is rediculous.

Preach Preacher!!

Unless Tech gets invited to do a bigger video with another artist I dont see him getting past MTVU either. He might get lucky and drop a track that cracks the whole thing open but who knows.

Plus the age of music videos is ending IMO. Its nice to see your favorite artist on TV but you can do the same shit on the internet now. To me its not that as important to see Tech or anyone else on TV when I can watch vids on the web when I want to. It would be nice but in the end I dont think it would change that much.

As far as an Em Tech dream collab, I think that unless the track is AMAZING it wont have much effect on anything. It may get Tech some more respect in the mainstream hip hop community but overall it might do anything that Tech cant do for himself. It would be a good look, but a Drake/ Kaliko collab would turn more heads then a Em collab with Tech IMo.
