damn thats bad news... like everyone said a fire is terrible cuz you lose all your work, its not just about the money or equipment.

Thats fucked man! Hope TC had those masteres elsewhere, all you producers out there make sure you back up your shits on disc, external hard drives, etc,. I know I do!

what are good places to keep em at? if you cant leave shit at the studio, and of course home doesnt count.. Do you just try to find a place you trust? i know a few spots like that

Easter morning fire leaves family of five homeless

(03-23) 10:59 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- Four adults and one child have been displaced after a two-alarm fire gutted their home in the Bayview District on Sunday morning, according to San Francisco Fire Department officials.
The fire at a three-story house in the 1200 block Revere Avenue was reported at about 5:11 a.m., a fire dispatcher said.
It took 66 firefighters from 22 units to get the blaze under control by 6:25 a.m., the dispatcher said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation, the dispatcher said.

I talked to Ad Kapone and he told me because the studio is in the basement, it suffered smoke and water damage mostly, but to what extent they don't know yet. But once they can go into the studio they be able to tell what they can salvage. hopefully they'll be able to snatch out the hard drives and save most of the music.
