i found it HILARIOUS when i seen the preview and tarvers trainer had him on those wabble boards (his was more like a swiss ball but cut in half so he could stand on it). tarver's strength and conditioning coach is a douche bag

Blah blah blah ppl are gonna use that past-his-prime shit as an excuse if Tarver wins. Tarver wants big money fights, wouldnt you?

heres a quote by the way...from Tarver..i like it lol
he fought a washed up rjjr, fought a decent fighter in johnson, now a true middleweight who is by far not a light heavy and far away from his best(i still support b-hop).. i wouldnt call that great.. then again he doesnt fight ppl like calzaghe, kessler and a few others.. shit even lacy would smash on tarver.. ur right bout the money fights tho but certainly not the best competition

I agree that's why I'm going for Hopkins.Example the dela Hoya fight. Shit talkers are always the ones to go down.
Also I think Castillo is going to win on the other fight.
I know I was going for Castillo, but I think I'm going to have to go back to Chico Corrales. He dissapointed me on the other fight, but I will give the homie some credit for coming back again.

tarver might take this one by k.o but i'm rootin for the underdog hopkins even though i don't really like that dude either but tarver was crying bout what side his picture was on during a interview what a bitch and hopkins said "it doesn't matter to me what side i'm on that doesn't concern me" if hopkins fights a very defensive fight he might take a decision but if tarver connects goodnight

when i said talkin shit i meant it with his whole cocky and sometimes disrespectful attitude.. he was once asked if he would fight calzaghe in england and tarver said "absolutely not, i am the undesputed champ bla bla bla" im like wtf? calzaghe would smash on tarver anywhere they would fight.. but no tarver rather chooses past their prime fighters
i dont agree wit u on him fightin past they prime fighters cuz like i said tarver overrated as fuck, but i def agree wit u about calzaghe, people 4got calzaghe just smash on jeff "left hook" lacy not too long ago, tarv will get smashed.

awww man hell nah haha. when Tarver beat RJJ, the last time RJJ lost was in 1997 and it was his ONLY other loss at the time. faaaar from washed up.

but now with 3 losses in a row and his next fight scheduled in IDAHO? maybe lol
the first time they fought each other jones was no longer the same fighter..great reflexes and speed which he counted on the most in his career were no longer there.. holyfield was a good example of a declining champ.. btw jones never really lost a fight before jones-tarver 2.. his first official loss was a dq even tho the fight was close but jones would have finished him off.. he sure as hell did that few months later..yet hes not able to repeat that shit anymore.. fool is past it since 2003.. im not tryin to prove anythin except that tarver is somewhat overrated

this is what im talkin bout LOL

Antonio Tarver respects De La Hoya and Mayweather Jr. as fighters, but questions the level of opposition they have faced, calling them B-Level.

Kevin Van Brimmer of the TCPalm quotes Tarver as saying: "Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya are great fighters, but I feel I'm the best fighter today. There's no fighter out there doing the things I'm doing, knocking out legends. These guys are going the distance with 'B' level fighters, fighting life and death with 'B' fighters. I make it look easy and (critics) want to call it boring."

Kinda sounds like Mike Tyson saying he can take on anybody and then lost a few fights a few years after. Now he retired saying I'm not what I used to be anymore.Tarver is a good fighter, but I think Hopkins has the heart to win..

The only thing that makes me doubt hopkins is his drive during the fight with JT. He was being hesitant and wasn't doing anything to take the fight convincingly meanwhile JT was trying to push the action hard. I know B-Hops a counter-puncher but he's shown less activity as of late. Hope we see a good fight tho.

Yeah, I know what you mean..
I've seen some fights like that in the past and the one who didn't have the strive to make the fight worth it,ends up winning with that luck punch to the side of the body. I hope Hopkins bring on a good fight and not one of them fights that keeps holding each other for rest.

i love hopkins great champ, great defense and counter puncher but im not so sure about this fight with tarver.. im damn sure that tarver wont be able to hurt b-hop cause he still possesses that great defense.. however tarver is a natural light heavy and hopkins aint.. i wonder if that shit will matter the most.. as much as i hate to say it..i predict tarver by ud
