man... its all fun and games until this shit starts...samos made some remarks which were alright... but he had to go on and say it was the worst ever..yadda yadda yadda... the radiation gets involved somehow (i dunno i got lost) and now all of this... jesus christ... crazy ass shit... and who gives a shit whether Bane is fond of netcee battles n shit... the fact is (you told me this yourself radiation) he records with professinal type shit... while the rest of you sit back with your mic that's installed on your comp when you buy it... that un-mixed piece of shit me and bane made still sounded better than anything recorded on a mic installed on a computer... so before you talk down on our shit... get your shit straight

^ I hope that wasn't directed at me, everything I own I bought with my own money I earned. Im about 500$ deep in my room with equipment and thats not even the beginning.
Just because one puts a couple hundred into a home studio doesn't mean its "professional". You say Bane has professional type shit, I do too, that doesn't mean our music sounds professional. Thats why you have engineers that are 20+ years deep in this, and that can actually mix and master something fresh ready for the consumer. Equipment doesn't replace knowledge, i'd rather read 4-5 books on mixing and music over the period of 5 months than buy equipment with no knowledge at all. It's about getting the best out of what you got, so don't hate someone for what they have or what they don't have. The only reason these cats don't have good equipment is because A. They are not serious about their music and B. They don't even diserve the equipment, and C. They can't afford it.

you are a smoker samos....im 6000.00 into my studio, and im not gonna take the time to mix a battle the same way im gonna mix a song on one of the 4 PROFESSIONAL releases i am working on now. make sure you pick em up when they drop.....lol i dont do this as a hobby, i have well over 6 grand invested in my music, ask any one who has worked with me.....but i think that comment was directed at radiation...but im not sure....and i like to battle people in audio, i dont freestyle, so its hard to battle somone off the net in audio. and i own, know how to use, and have a more then basic knowledge of all my gear, so i aint trippin, i know what i do and the people i work with know what i do, and they have faith that im gonna put out a project that is gonna sell, otherwise they wouldnt be messin wit me.....so post your battle and lets do this...

i dont remember telling you anything about what he records with...not sure who you are confusing me with man...my problem is only with people who want to battle everybody who criticizes them. i do record with a condenser mic and a mixing board, i do mix shit down and multi-track. thats not really even the point though. i dont have beef with anybody in this thread, so please stop making it out to be different.

i actually just went and checked it.....mad props man, soundin real tight.....it had that gee flava.....im diggin it, definetly the best competition ive had so far....if i would have known you were gonna come that tight i would have spent more time on it....but no excuses, you came all around tighter.......i tell ya, i need to stop being in such a hurry.....lol
one thing though, when you post a song you should post the lo-fi, hi-fi, and the download, cuz it took me like 5 times to be able to listen the whole thing cuz it kept clipping...

I thought it sounded ok, but thats me.... compared to the regular time I spend on actual songs, that was rushed like mad, but I went on and threw in the chorus and bridge to spice it up. We can take it to another round but right now Im tied up in school and work, but when I know I have time to make a due date on another round, i'll PM you and we can do it (week or two). Im in Vancouver, where the sun don't shine (most of the time). Yeah the place I uploaded IUMA doesn't have HI & LOFI, the only stream is the whole MP3, so thats why I put the 20-30kbs RAM file for slower peeps.
