Oh I know what you're talking about. I was moderating for a site recently and they had a "flag" option. It was so fucking frustrating because people used it ALL THE TIME, and for nonsense. It used to take half an hour to go through that bullshit.
I have Krayzie's Gemini CD, and when I heard his verse on MWC 2 that's the first thing I thought of. That's basically his album summed up in one verse.
Even Krayzies newest fixtape has some almost entirely reused song concepts. I used to be a fan with how he used his filler... at least it used to be fresh and harmonized. But cmon man, it cant be that difficult to switch up your melodic lyrics!
Recycled content (using the same phrase word for word in multiple songs) is weak, no matter who the artist is. Its like wow, you've mentioned that 7 times. Runnin outta shit to write about?
