T-Pain and Busta Respond to Tech's requests for work.

Via Twitter, both have responded in the last hour saying they are gonna do the respective songs.

Thoughts?

I am personally glad these are happening. I am not a huge T-Pain fan but this will be great for exposure to that fanbase.

The Busta feature is something I have wanted for years.

If I remember correctly Tech said that T-Pain had it a little while back (a few weeks or a month maybe) T-Pain's tweet looked like he saw Tech's tweet about heading to ATL for Yelawolf and said he was gonna be there too so lets get it done while they are there together. He referenced it like he had previously agreed a while back. Other than that I personally had only heard Tech say who he wanted on things, not that they had committed to anything. We know when he was in NY he probably got at Busta about that at the Funk Flex gig. So respectfully I am not sure how your feelings about that stuff relate to this in particular.

I'm just going off of the thread titled "Tech talks 6's n 7's, Lil Wayne and T-Pain Track n more!" that states

If the song is already named and T-pain has had the song since at least 1/15 when the video was posted. You would think T-Pain would have already told him before now that he was doing the song.

He may have, but maybe he was gonna do it and send his verse or hook in. Now it seems that he will do it with Tech there. Hence the tweet.

....last i heard, t-pain was some autotune using singer, not a rapper and certainly not a speed rapper.

and no, hes not allowed on the hook. tech can have his little gay r&b bullshit on other songs, but his chopper songs are the only ones i can stand anymore so t-pain is not allowed on it. >_<
