Thanks for the feedback, breh.
LOL! Never that Breh LOL!

I think you forgot I copped one of your Cd's a few years back @ the gas lighter out in Gilroy. We kicked it for a bit, you's a cool ass dude. I'm just an asshole online and give people a hard time sometimes. It's not personal, it just keeps it interesting in here. Hey! my sarcasm is a lot better than that gay shit going on in here lately LOL!

Video was a little awkward. You have a good voice and the song was heartfelt but that beat was super goofy sounded. Also since when is it ok to post your own music on the open forum? No hate just wondering cuz I would like to post something.

Thanks for the feedback.

I always post my music in here 'cause this is where I post...and it's an open forum. I never really get feedback in the BART forum, and the Southern California mods delete every single one of my threads.

I use to post shit here back in the day and got pretty good responds but I take negativity on here with a grain of salt.

I been spitting for years and have heard everything good and bad in the book.
EXACTLY why I don't get discouraged here. I post music here STRICTLY for the harshest of feedback (I never expect positive results, but when I get it it's definitely nice).

At the end of the day, if you have people supporting you then that's all that matters. The negative feedback helps with growth, and helps light a fire under your ass sometimes. So it's ALL good.

Actually, that's how I naturally sound. I don't TRY to do anything...ask anybody who knows me what my voice sounds like.

My speaking voice is deep as fuck, btw....deeper than my rapping voice. I actually had to try to lighten it up during the talking parts (including altering the lows with EQ) to make it sound softer than the verses...to add a little contrast.

Oh, and I've BEEN doing this since '94. Before the internet rappers started popping up.

cool. i wasnt really feeling it so figured i wouldnt say anything but if you want the constructive criticism.....i guess i dont really like it cause its boring to me. when hip hop songs are about cliche topics they have to be either REALLY lyrically or production wise impressive for me to stay interested. ie, gift of gab, who will sometimes rap about the tired positive living bullshit we hear so many dudes talk about, but the way he puts words and rhymes together is so dope that i still dig his shit. not saying your lyricism was weak, but it didnt sound spectacular to me either, you know what i mean?

i think its really great that you write something that comes from the heart but to me it sounds like typical stuff ive heard plenty of times before...."i love you, ill always be there for you, etc. etc." which is fine, but i tend to enjoy songs with more depth and complexity where im not sure what the song is about and one could interpret them all sorts of ways (while still sounding tight of course). otherwise songs usually just bore me. but thats just my taste and i know many ppl dont feel the same way.

and i agree that the dark shots of you looking into the camera were a little creepy. you looked more like you wanted to chop someone up rather than tell them how much you love them haha. but the footage of your boy was real cool.

so all in all i wouldnt bump it...but thats awesome that he'll be able to hear songs you made for him when hes older. my dad never did that shit for me...fuckin asshole

i agree with quite a few of what has been said. making songs like these are proply the hardest to do, they really either hit or miss, no in between.. i mean shit, dear mama is probably the only song for the mothers that a hit..ever..and look how many there are.

right on sydal, keep doing you and take the criticism to the gas tank ya dig
