^^^who the fuck are you???

anyways...maybe i have a bad copy of the album cuz it sounds like the vocals were recorded in a trash can...you can barely hear them...the songs just cut off, no fade outs, the beats are mixed horribly...if thats what they were going for...then bravo, mission accomplished...i imagine mixing and mastering the beats, and making the vocals clear wouldnt have made this product any more commercial, and im sure it still could have gotten its point across...but whatever...i still support DE fully, when someone puts out 11+ albums theres gotta be at least one that doesnt reach everyone....hes still got a flawless track record to me

They dont suck, this album is sub par at best and the mastering on it was done by someone who had no idea how to master anything. Similar to all recent fahrenhiet releases this album is the opposite of good. If you dont belive me listen to Planet Zero. Then listen to the decline of fahrenhiet records after that. Quality and De's sanity have seemed to evaporate quickly after that release. It just seems to get worse as time prgresses. Again if you dont belive me listen to look me in my face though. The song im talkiin bout sac town gang bang was the "radio single". For a radio cut you need to have an actual track not spoken word. So in conclusion this album was dissapointing at best. The production was garbage and everything about it seemed rushed. Just tryin to make a quick dollar or two. Even with all the promotion this album got id be suprized to hear if it pushed more than 1500 units. So all in all you dont know what your talking about and i do.

P.S. Eat a big black bat dick. Because your already swingin from one.

For the past eight or so months I have been leading "The Bang Your Future Moverment". The purpose of the movement is to get our local hardcore gangbangers to descover their importance and consider their futures. This movement included three parts.

1. An elementry school basketball tournament in one of our gang troubled neighborhoods. (Kids)

2. A rap album with local BOSSES with influence. (Teens and young adults)

3. A televised peace rally (Adults)

These three avenues, including television, newspaper, and internet news (Google etc), help spread the message. The Message was spread to hundreds of thousands of people around the globe.

The single is a tight Beta beat with me talking. I am adressing specific issues in our local community. I DONT GIVE A FUCK ANYMORE! FUCK IT! I DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT IMAGE AND ALL THAT SHIT! I AM AN ACTIVIST. Thousands of you heard it on the radio. The purpose was to use my musical influence to spreads a message. It wasnt inteded to be the next hot single rockin the masses. This album was a musical message, not like a First Degree album, where Im concentrating on a musical album.

The album became more popular and talked about than expected. It was originally going to be an undergroung local release. Originally, I was just going to walk the streets givin them out free to people that needed to hear it. I have been walkin the streets and visiting churches, but I also decided to put it out in stores to genertate funds for local programs. If I would have known that this many people would have been interested in the album, it wouldnt have mixed it so awkardly. I would have gone with a more farmiliar and friendly to the ear sound. This was supposed to sound like an underground release with was too much reverb. The sound and samples come from the 90s underground. Some love it others hate it.

This will be the only Fahrenheit release in which I get so wild on the reverb. By listening, Ive learned that many dont like the over reverb sound.

If you like the over reverb sound, enjoy it on "Gang Wars", because Ill never do it again. If you dont like the reverb over sound, you are heard. Please continue to trust in Fahrenheit and continue your high expectations for hgih quality sound and music. I LOVE the over reverb sound, but then again, I grew up on it.

Im still workin on the south.

I travel the US and meet all kinds of different people. Ive found that 90% of the First Degree fans like the first First Degree album they heard. For example, the people that have followed my whole carrer like the DE of 6-8 years ago better (PZ, Southbound). This was when thier mind was first expanded to another dimintion. (Like Matrix, the second one was better, but everyone likes the original the best) The girls and young people at the shows that heard "Bat" or "FI!A&B" as their first DE CDs, like those better. They go back and buy the "PZ" and "DTDE!" and like the new music better. Its 50-50. All I can do is promise you that I will continue to put out the most hardcore gangsta dark fast quality groove funk music to my best ability!!

Thanks for listening and continue to listen. Your opinions are ALL welcome. Continue to respect. I want more input.

^^^right on DE...i feel that about the gang wars cd, like i said you got a flawless track record to me...and them 90s samples you used in the hooks is tight, just mastered bad...all good i still support your shit like always, and yea, i love the old stuff the best, i think you and lynch had great chemistry, and your stuff defined a point in time....but all your other shit has been up to par...even if im not feeling it as much as the old stuff, you still have put out more quality albums then any other artist ive heard...most of the time rappers lose steam and get old, but your albums all have been consistently good, which is very rare in this game

much love

DE

what I get from that is;
You put out the album with a clearly defined purpose, album plan and etc.
It's NOT a DE album.

The masses here are takin the GW album and dissecting it and comparing it to other DE albums, PZ etc.

The point is, fans shouldn't compare the GW album to DE albums because THEY ARE NOT THE SAME, THEY ARE NOT COMPARABLE...PERIOD.

YOU CAN ONLY CRITIQUE THE GW ALBUM WITH DE'S PURPOSE AND ALBUM PLAN IN MIND...

any other way just doesn't make sense

@DE-
mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn...
you have a few who are judging the album out of context, don't allow their ignorance to influence your album makin decisons...

as it says on DTDE;Swamp Underbelly

i have all of DE's albums, and would consider myself a fan..i just have a couple things to say:

- i didn't hear shit about that movement, so i'm not sure if 100's of thousands of people really did hear about it, and i'm on the internet a lot, i heard about the album, but none of the activism that went along with the concept...i thought it would just be a Bloodz/Crips collabo, a tribute to the old school

- i was disappointed to find out tehre was no DVD, which i think would've been perfect for a concept like this

- the music is pretty bad, and it's hard to not compare DE's shit to it, cuz his name is attached...and i've heard much better from him and his camp...i found myself keepin a finger on the NEXT TRACK button

lookin forward to future DE (no more comps) releases

The DE ain't as tight as he used to be. I used to be a huge fan of this guy; he was one of my favorite rappers! Ever since he dropped "Look Me In My Face, Though" I dropped him from my favorite rappers list. It seems like he's just puttin' out an album just to put one out and not take the time and effort that he had put into his last albums. "Planet Zero," "Damn That DE," and "The Big Black Bat" are great albums. He put effort into those, but these last ones I don't think he did. I haven't even heard "Gang Wars" yet and from all these opinions I just read I don't think I'm even going to hear it, especially how disappointed I was with "Look Me In My Face, Though." First Degree has disappointed me and I don't think I'll ever buy any more of his albums. I'm sorry DE!

TRUST IN THE DE!

Thanks for the input.

You have liked many other DE albums. Just because you didnt like one out of many, doesnt mean you should abandon The DE.

I PROMISE you will like "Street Monster, The Rise And Fall Of First Degree The DE" I am just finishing it and I PROMISE it is the hardest, darkest DE albums ever.

Believe in The DE, DE believes in you...
