dodgers gonna be shitting bricks the next few years when cain and lincecum are both cy young candidates year in and year out.
LOL!!! Lincecum a CY Young Candidate? LOL. the only thing Lincecum will be a candidate for is ROTATOR CUFF surgery. no1 that small that throws that fast will last, especially with the way U. of Washington abused him in college and the way Bochey is letting him run up over the 100 mark often.

as for Cain , i will agree he has CY YOUNG "stuff". but his team is shit. ERA in the 3's and has 3-10 record, and that is with Bonds 1.100+(?) OPS.

in the long run you guys will have to dump him because you wont be able to afford him.

BTW how are you guys hitting/position prospects coming along?? LOL

As much as i love the Giants, Matt Cain hasn't proven himself this year. Sitting at 3-10 so far isnt convincing me that he's Cy Young calibur. Lincecum on the other hand is the future.
that just goes to show how little you know about baseball!!!!!!!!!!!!

i will take Cain over Lincecum 10 out of 10 times.

Cain IS CY YOUNG MATERIAL YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT
Lincecum IS NOT

WTF does Cain's record has to do with Bonds OPS? And why are you talking out of your ass saying the Giants arent going to be able to afford him?

come pn put 2 and 2 together buddy. my whole post had to do with how the Giants "team is shit"

bonds while not having GREAT numbers has a rediculously good on base plus slugging. yet the Giants CANT win games? they cant score runs?

pitchers like Lowry and Morris are overachieving and still cant win games? Cain is pitching solid ball and cant win a game?

it shows that the "team is SHIT!" which is what i said in the very first line i wrote. and also was the entire point of my post.

come on bud, if you dont know baseball read what people who do know baseball say SLOWLY so as to comprehend it correctly.

when people such as Thizz and/or Bammer talk, best believe they know what they are talking about. yes, there are others here also that know baseball, including myself.

just think before you speak/type.

oh ya and BTW when Cain is unresricted free agent, you best believe he will walk. you wont be able to afford him unless you find some1 more stupid than the Sabean to take on the Zito contract.

Zito contract plus stadium payments = limited money for payroll. and i am still scratching my head at all the talk about ARod going to SF!!!!!!!!!!!!

the dodgers are proud to be sitting in 1st place in the easiest shittiest division in baseball.... WOW con-fucking-grats. Fuck every team in the NL west, except the giants, and maybe the dbacks.

The giants got money.. the all-star game brought some bank also.

1. worst division in baseball. lol several teams over 500 and they are beating each other up, so that must mean THEY ARE BEATING UP TEAMS FROM THE OTHER DIVISIONs.

2. haha, when they finish paying the stadium off they will have bank, as for right now they are short money because of the payments they are making.

but in 20 years of so they will be in good shape. they would be as strong revenue wise as big city teams that own their stadiums like the dodgers, yankees, and bosox. but they will be able to spend more

Your a fucking idiot if you think one person's OPS should make a whole team better. THE WHOLE TEAM SUCKS. LMAO @ you thinking Bonds has a good OPS so the pitchers should be doing better. Maybe you shouldnt have made that comparison. Explain to me why you think Cain's record has anything to do with Bonds OPS because you still failed to do that with youir second post.

it should, if the rest of the team was halfway decent. but that is my point exactly about the "GIANTS ARE A SHITTY TEAM" even with one guys putting up very good numbers and with pitchers either pitching to their potential or overachieving they STILL CANT WIN. whats so hard to comprehend about that?

ya, it should because he should be scoring twice as many runs as normal. his ob% is what .600??? most players are inthe 375 range. he should dscore more, the giants should be scoring more, they should be winning more. but they are "SHIT" so even though he gets on and even though his pitchers are pitching great, they still lose. do you really not comprehend what i am saying or just acting like you dont because of your blinging love for bonds and the giants?

they have NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER, i never stated that, what i stated was that the "GIANTS WERE SHIT" even with BONDS high OB% and OPS and with CAINS good pitching

The Giants are a shitty team because they have no offense. When they do have a decent offensive game, they blow it on defense with the errors. The Giants are horrible this year.

They should do alot of shit but thats why they are shitty. Those are normal numbers for Bonds. So if we suck or not, he's still going to put up those numbers. I understand why they suck but thanks for the breakdown.

Bonds and Cain normally do this, but two players cant carry the oldest team in baseball or any team for that matter.

All I wanted to know was why you tied Matt Cains losing to Bonds OPS but I guess you werent trying to say that in the first place. No big deal.

^^ look let me put it this way. if the dodgers were to somehow in some imaginary world get their hands on matt cain and sign him to 13 million a year right now, i would be happy!
