About 'Blood N Blood Out.'
Its a pretty good movie if you get past some of the corny dialogue. But I dont think its a historical account, or based on any real facts. For example, the Mexican gang is La Onda, the blacks is The Black Guerilla Army(Black Guerilla Family) and the Aryan Vanguard (Aryan Brotherhood). There are no rival mexican prison gangs. I think the director or producers were scared to use actual accounts or gang names because of what happened with 'American Me.'

I'm sorry AGAIN but Blood in Blood out is a fictional movie that is LOOSELY based on the "M" and the issue of La Onda being opposed in prison by any other Chicanos never comes up, so I don't know what anyone could get out of it historically. If you want a far more realistic depiction, rent American Me... the issue of the ostracized Northern Chicanos comes up and the movie deals with it for almost an hour.

I knew the answer to my question I wanted to see what others would say.
The reason I asked about where they were from is because alot of these LA people say that the sureno hoods hate eachother. So does that mean that all these scrap rappers are from the same hood or do they network when it comes to music?

I'm not sure. The SD guys might do it different out there, but the ones in LA most likely won't work with one another if the other rapper is from a rival hood. Basically, there probably won't be any rappers from 18st that make it big yet still network with other cholo rappers because they have more enemies than anyone down here. But some rapper from say Oxnard, networking with one from the San Gabriel Valley most likely wouldn't be a big problem because they are like 80 miles apart and probably don't know shit about one another's varrios. But I am just being logical I really don't know the specifics because I don't listen to Chicano rap much at all.
I think they're cool as long as they haven't had shit in the past. Like a rapper from Evergreen wouldn't do a track with a cholo from 18st. But a cholo from SD might do some shit with someone from Pacoima just cuz they've never had shit due to the distance between 'em. Which is the same shit Leader said..
