For everybody's information right now, the Poll would read Pittsburgh 24, Seattle 3 if all of the Seahawks fans/Washington state natives were not allowed to vote. In short, 15 of those 18 votes for the Seahawks are coming from Seahawk fans.

So basically, the country heavily favors the Steelers if this is a somewhat representative sample.

That's what I was about to say...most of the folks who voted for the Seahawks live in Washington! Anyway I think the Steelers will win it, and Bettis will finally get his ring before he retires!!

The Steelers are gonna win. I'm not gonna talk shit all the way up to the game, but the Seahawks and their fans are going to be exposed in front of the nation on February 5th..
I could say the same about Pitt...Your LBs and S's cant cover all our recievers by themselves...cuase your corners are CRAP....best of luck buddy!

Learn about Ike Taylor before the Bowl. I don't want it to seem like he came out of nowhere..
Ike who???He aint nobody...and if thats your BEST cover guy...youre in DEEP shit....can he cover Bobby,D-Jack and Joe on his own?No...And Porter has to handle Jeremy Stevens who has about 5 inches on him...and a ridiculous reach....Youre only hope is Troy...hes the BEST defensive guy on that team...hes a sav...but hes gonna be doin ALOT of runnin around trynna catch our recievers slippin...

Even our backups are sick...check Hackett,Hannam and Urban...And Seneca can catch too..OH BOY!!!!!

Yall are in some serious trouble....once we turn Pitt into a one demensional team by takin the run away....well do exactly what we did to the Panthers...good luck!

lol. For those recievers to be able to make plays, the o-line is going to have to stop the pressure that pitt is gonna put on them, i tthink seattle can make some big plays but i dont know how hasselbeck is gonna respond to that shit. also, pittsburg aint been able to run as much as they would like, but big ben is still makin plays mayne, so we'll see.

^THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE HURRIES AND PRESSURE, OR IF THEY CAN ADJUST IF THE STEELERS "D" DISgUISES THE LINE UP. BELIEVE ME, DENVER HAD ALL WHAT YOUR TEAM HAD, AND IT ALL COMES DOWN TO IF HASSELBEK CAN OVERCOME ALL THE PRESSURE(OFF AND ON THE FIELD).

Well, as proven time and time again on this board, all the talk and stats, opinions, etc. mean nothing before the game. No one knows the future, so we'll just all have to wait and see what happens.

Personally I ***think*** it will be a close game, and I ***think*** Seattle's going to win. But again, we'll have to wait and see.

For the same reasons that have been stated before: Seattle is an all-around better team, defensively, offensively, better pass rush, pass protection, Hassleback is more experienced/smarter QB, etc. There are some similarities between the teams (both teams are great at stopping the run), which I think will keep it pretty close, as long as the refs aren’t playing into favoritism themselves (we all know who the popular team here is).

2-0-SIXX,
LOOKIN' AT THEY WEAK SCHEDULE AND THE TEAMS THEY BEAT, THOSE FIgURES CAN BE MISLEADIN'. IF YOU WERE IN HOLMgREN'S POSITION, HOW WOULD YOU MINIMIZE THE STEELERS RUSH DEFENSE? HOW WOULD YOU MINIMIZE THEY LINEBACCERS EFFECTIVENESS(PALUMALU AND PORTER)? HOW WOULD YOUR OFFENSE ATTAK THEY DEFENSE(ESPECIALLY IN THE FIRST HALF)? WHAT IF THAT DON'T WORK? IF HASSELBEK gETS INTERCEPTED MORE THAN TWICE IN THE FIRST HALF AND SHAUN ALEXANDER IS INNEFFECTIVE, WHAT'S YOUR NEXT MOVE? IF YOU DOWN BY LIKE THREE SCORES AT HALFTIME, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENT THE XND HALF? AND WHAT IF SOMETHIN' LIKE THE gIANTS gAME POPS OFF? YOU THINK PITTSBURgH WON'T CAPITALIZE?
