i feel for her fam and shit..

but if you take a look at the situation...the guy that shot at them..didnt shoot at them for no reason....I'm sure it was gang related..maybe she wasnt..but someone that was wit her was gang related...

she was walking with a group of people...so yeah...u put 2 and 2 together...and her death is the answer to it...im sure the bullet wasnt intented for her..but for someone in the group..but that's how the gang bangin game goes...when you get caught in shit like tha..them bullets is for anyone...

^^^i couldnt disagree with u more..that aint how gangbanging goes, thats how sum coward shit goes..if dudes were real gangsters they woulda got off the car and executed whoever they intendid to kill..all that shooting from a moving vehical is grounds for sum jailhouse regulating....and thats whats sad about this story, that a young girl lost her life to sum young idiots....and did u see the vid.?...none of her homies looked like gangsters,so i think it was just sum cowards shooting at sum1 who they knew couldnt or wouldnt retaliate.

I hate to say it, but nofx has a point. people die everyday....more so in other countries sinces there's real wars, not just people claiming their hood is a warzone. you say it hits home surcaliman? no, hitting home is washing your sons sippy cups and hearing gunshots & a woman screaming "wake up, wake up"....cuz thats what happened about an hour & a half ago less than a block from my house. sad to say, but shit happens. rip to the dead, but no use crying over spilled milk.

i disagree.. u cant justify not mourning because it happens everywhere... what if at your funeral they jus look at u being lowerd and say "oh well.. at least he didnt get blown up in another country like so and so did"

should you feel hurt, pain, & sorrow for a lost friend or loved one? of course. for some random person you've never met or seen before that died in your state, county, city, or down the street, probably not. I'm not mourning the guy who just got shot down the street or this 16 year old girl. its sad they're both no longer with us, but thats life. and death. Troll, you of all people should know that with your line of work.

trust me defy...them gunshots have been aimed towards me and my loved 1's on numerous occasions, not just down the street from me....and if u really think that way, then maybe u shoulda walked down the street and told that screaming woman not to cry over spilled milk.

see thats where i disagree.. i understand your point, dont get me wrong bro, but if my daughter was 16, i would see the pain that there family was goin thru and i can relate and sympathize with there loss because it could have easily been mine.. im not gonna openly sob or bawl but i can feel there pain and sorrow.. i guess it all depends on the level of empathy one posses..

heh. if your refering to my mortuary job, that was a while ago.. but i became desensitized to the blood, gore and messyness that comes with death... even to the point where i was able to have my pizza during lunch next to a body being opend up and having there pace maker rippd from there heart... and any emt, paramedic, doctor or firefighter will tell you... you will NEVER.. EVER.. get used to being around the family breaking down and pouring their heart on your shoulder for there loved one.. its the most awkward position u can ever be in... carrying someones remains off and not knowing them but having their family express there love for them and having too pretend as if you understand how they feel.. i agree with you on some things.. what happend to the 16 yr old and the man is the cycle of life and death.. and even tho you can accept it as being a part of the natural process in which we all come and go.. it doesnt mean that these peoples lives and how they lived is overshadowed by the fact that what happend happend.. feel me?

really, how many people on this board have children that are 16....or over 10 for that matter....I'd say maybe 5 out of the thousands registered. maybe if it was a 2 year old getting shot I would feel more since I have a 2 year old...but I don't think so....I mean I feel sorry for them, but its not make me get all down thinking about it....I dunno, I guess since I'm creole and we have parties after funerals to celebrate their life instead of mourn their death I see things differently
