adema (dark at times, emotianal at times, very good overall)
radiohead (very good and soothing)

Have you heard Hed pe's newest shit? Have you ever listened to their older shit such as the "Broke" Album?
Hell yeah, ive been a fan of them since before Broke even. Seen em twice now. Jarrod is a fucking madman.. that fools so crazy esp. on stage.

Amerikka is alright, i didnt like it at first but it grew on me. Daydreams and Raise Hell are my favorites. Oh, and for those wondering (since they "have" been labeled rock/rap group), its 90% rock. Seriously, its HARD HARD Rock.. lol

But anyway, I recommend:

Tool - Gods.
A Perfect Circle - sick
Modest Mouse - sick
OSI - A mix of Tool, APC, And Pink Floyd. Anyone who hasnt heard em that likes progressive rock, CHECK THEM OUT
Grateful Dead - 1 of my faves ever, period
Rolling Stones - older, classic fucking group, "Paint It Black" is best song
The Used - Screamo/Punk
Coheed & Cambria - Punk/PunkRock w/ a bit of Emo
The Faint - Really unique electro-rock band w/ a dash of 80's in there. Get the cd "Wet From Birth"
Orgy - before you get any pre-existing discriminations in your head, check their latest cd out "Punk Statik Paranoia"... one of my top 5 rock bands, despite their image/appearance.... fucking quality music..
The Cure - 80's, so watch out, but UNIQUE
Smashing Pumpkins - nuff said

The Clash -- all you have to know. Punk rock blended with reggae

The Smiths -- one of the mellowest, coolest bands from the 80's.

And I'll second my IRA-supporting friend (I do too) on the Killers, Modest Mouse, and Interpol. I'd also add The Shins (trippy shit) and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Album: Only In Amerika
Good shit... a must have, an Album you can listen to in its entirety.
Recommended Songs: All of them, but here's a few to start "Represent" "Awake" and "Raise Hell."

I used to love that band back in the day, that was about 5 years ago, good shit.

Right on, and np, its good stuff

I think OSI only has one CD out right now and they are actually pretty new even though it doesnt sound like that. They wanted the more traditional hard rock style w/ a little bit of psychedelia thrown in. But one of my friends is a pretty big fan and he said there will be another CD coming out this year, probably pretty soon.
As for Orgy, their new cd that i recommended up there ^ is tight , but their best cd is hands down "Vapor Transmission" , so if you dont got that one yet, its worth it to check out fully. Their first cd in 98 "candyass" was alright but its not as appealing as the others to most people. But it does have their 2 most famous songs "Blue monday" and "stitches" on it which makes the cd already worth it to download.
