I'm not siding with either one of you. Leave your little catfights out of this forum, and if you have to be told again, you're banned. If you want to run your mouth then go do it in some other forum or in PM. End of discussion.

Yea im feeln ya edj bout the keyboard, casio sends midi, and it gots 2 more buttons that can browse thru presets n change channels in fp n reason. Im gettin a novation remote 25, cuz i was thinkn if i got like a m audio radium, but it didnt have that play and record feature, and i know thats gonna make making beats easier, so im just gonna buy it for 250 b stock. For the computer, im thinkn of building one up, actually, i need some advice on that, but im researchin that like crazy cuz i dont wana waste my money on shitty parts. People say AMD is good, im lookn into that. But im gonna start my list up today.

One more thing about the casio is i didnt spend ne money on it. It was a free.....lol.

Carnage don't feel bad about yer setup homeboy....Most cats STARTED on "sub standard" equipment and that's what made us hungrier to get better equipment and step it up....U could have THOUSANDS in top notch equipment and your stuff will STILL be garbage....But I've seen cats with setups like yours make hot shit...The man MAKES the equipment not the other way around

It's a Fantom X homie.

Trust me , it takes a long time to build your shit up.
I started with a Casio Board , it had midi tho, and cakewalk Express that came with my Gateway computer in 97. After that I bought a Korg Trinity and built up from there. I've heard fools make slaps with FruityLoops without a keyboard so it's all on you pimp.

shit i started with a roland u20 and only half the keys worked i hooked it up to a boom box played a drum track by hand (keyboard had no sequencer) and recorded it into another boom box by a radio shack mic.that process would be done about 4 times to create a simple beat then it would get thrown in a karokee machine to get rapped on LOL but acourse this was back in 1996 when i was 16 years old
NOW THATS GHETTO!

Yeah That's the nord lead 3 mayne, and the Fantom X. I think the Fantom is the best board out right now, easy to use , easy to sample and chop shit too, plus the sounds are more geared towards rap and dance stuff.
Might not be as clear or realistic as my motif, but more variety and actual drum sounds you can use.
