Who knows if the white kids with low test scores did extra curricular activities, who knows if the black kids with low test scores did extra curricular activities also?

But that is not the argument, the argument is that black people with low test scores that got in. There is no argument towards the students of alumni's getting in to University of Michigan, there is not argument about poor applicants getting in, the argument is just about black people getting in.

i didnt say that. what i said is that it is wrong to let a person in solely based on that their black.

look i dont know if you ever took the SAT's but they arent a walk in the park (my score was 1100 pre-1994 when they made the SAT's easier). but in the Michigan case a perfect score of 1600 on your SAT exam is worth 12 points. now if you are black you get an AUTOMATIC 20 points. so based on that alone i black guy who is as dumb as a tree trunk and got a ZERO on His SAT's will have 8 more points than a white guy with a perfect score of 1600...
same for a female (automatic 20 points) and an athlete (automatic 20 points).

well how else do you propose equalizing the hundreds of years of people getting in cuz theyre WHITE?

ide like to see you tell a deserving white/asian/european/middle easterner to their face that you are practicing discrimination against them because in the past a black person was discriminated against. and that even though that individual is poor and never discriminated against any black person that he/she would still have to pay the price just because he/she is white/asian ect.....

The way I see it is minorities as a whole WILL catch up to the Anglo-saxon core. All it takes is a matter of time.
