Lashley won't take any of the fights they're giving him. He said he'll only fight Fedor, Overeem or cans. Coker's been trying to get him to fight Shane Del Rosario for a year to see if he's ready for the big guys and he's turned it down 3-4 times.
Dan Cormier's going to be fighting Jason Riley on this as well. Dude would crush Lashley. Only shitty thing about this card is that Sergei K vs. Bigfoot, Toughill vs. Olsen and Galvao vs. T Wood/Sponge all fell through.

nobody outside of the hardcores know who the hell he is, whereas Lashley can sell an entire card. Sucks, but at least they're going to stream his (and Galvao's) fight on Sherdog.
As much as I'd like to see it, I don't think they'll match up Cormier and Lashley. Cormier's like LashleyX100 and I think they're going to let Bobby coast along until he fights Andrei/Sergei/Rogers and if he wins that he'll get a title shot. Cormier's going to have a longer road. I know promoting 101 is to never match up prospects but they're going to have to put him up against Del Rosario or Big Lavar soon.
All that said, hopefully after they both win this weekend they'll have Lashley fight Del Rosario or Rogers on the October card that might be on CBS, and then have Cormier fight Big Lavar as a headliner for a Challengers card.

Overeem vs. Fedor makes no sense at all/ I'd rather see Werdum rematch The Demolition Man & Fedor fight Bigfoot. Nick Diaz can catchweight with Miller(As he did with Shamrock & Smith), So him being scared to fight Miller? You decide. I HOPE THE LASHLEY/BATISTA FIGHT DOESN'T HAPPEN. THAT'S A BLACK EYE FOR MMA WAITING TO HAPPEN.
