Didn't get a chance to watch the whole thing, only the first couple of fights. I am really surprised Cung Le got handeled like that. I have yet to watch the fight but from what I have seen (gif) and heard he got jacked up. I always saw him as this surperior fighter and thought he was going to get that belt back for sure. Was it rust? Age? Did he just look slow? I have Evolution DVR'd so I'm going to find out for myself but shit.
cung didnt get handled. he completely dominated the first two rounds. but as usual scott smiths head is to hard. he caught cung in the 3rd with a big punch and put him away with a couple more shots.
cung le looked tired in the 3rd round. i imagine because of the long layoff. scott smith needs to stop taking so many hits though. hes on the fast track to brain damage.

both cards (strike & WEC) were action packed!!!! the more various MMA events i watch, the more i feel WEC Strikeforce Dream & Sengoku are more entertaining than UFC.
dont get me wrong, ufc has put on some good fights. & anderson silva is overall my favorite fighter (though mousasi is his only real competition @ LHW right now). but lately it seems like UFC is more about throwing big names together (or stacking the odds/building up fighters by throwing weak oponents @ them) than looking for the best fights (fuck dana white).
also, what most casual fans dont understand is--- when you sign to the UFC, you become a slave. any martial arts competitions you want to be a part of? too bad. you want a specific sponsor? sorry, we dont approve of them. & if we do, give us our 32G's even if all you're doing is wearing a shirt. oh someone wore that shit on StrikeForce? bye bye! lol.. EA videogame? you're banned! dont forget, we own you for life
