its funny cuz even after dead blue explained that shit i still dont know what the fuck hes talking about...its like, if thats what it means say that then..
all it means is there is a number assigned to every way you can push the stick. up,down, left, right, the diagonals. so certain moves can bed read as number combinations rather than trying to explain what to do with the stick

THAT FOOL IS DEEP INTO STREETFIGHTER ON SOME ANOTHER FORM OF ALTER REALITY SHIT, BUT YALL MOTHAFUCKAZ TALKIN BOUT STREET FIGHTER N SHIT BUT NONE OF YALL WANNA GET THE MATCHES STARTED
LOL! Lee you're crazy man. How come you don't have all your names in your sig anymore?

Anyway, wtf is up with these shortcuts to moves? Down Forward, Down Forward for a Dragon? If you can't pull it off you need to hone your skills or get your ass handed to you. Shit I remember dropping MANY quarters in SF 2 just so I could play by myself so I could "practice". People should practice, not be given shortcuts and the easy way out. Like for example, I would practice by doing the dragon all the way across the screen, nonstop, and if I messed up I had to start all over again. This is gonna be a generation of faggot Street fighter players, and whoever came up with this idea should get knocked out like that one nigga at the intro of Street Fighter 2.

word the fuck up!!! i cosign 100%

i used to sit in luxor and mgm grand in las vegas handing kids their asses for 3 hours on one quarter...then eventually leave in disgust middle game and the kids all race for the free game..

i put so much practice into sf2 , that was the fucking fun of playing it.....same with like killer instinct...you practiced and you got good..or the dude at the arcade or the guy you played with put you up on that combo....i didnt learn a fucking combo breaker online or something dude showed me in the arcade and let me practice while the time ran out till i got it..or i made up my own combos by changing a move here or there..

they made this one so u can play it with ur girlfriend n shit . hardcord sf2 people still play it they expanding the audience for sf4

the main producer dude whos responsible for all the tweaks is a former sf2 champ

he broke the purpose of all the changes down character by character on his website http://www.sirlin.net/sf

I was the lead designer of Street Fighter HD Remix. This is a collection of all 20 articles I wrote about designing the game. Together, they are even longer than my book. CLICK ON THE PORTRAITS BELOW for each character's article. Enjoy.

"Zangief is an interesting character in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (ST) in that he is considered bottom tier, yet he is scary enough that he can win. One time in Tokyo, I saw that champion Zangief player Kuni was next up to play and his opponent was Dhalsim (very hard match!). I asked Kuni if he could win. His response: “If you can thread the needle, then you can win Zangief vs. Dhalsim.” Indeed. Amazingly, even Kuni has his superior, who he refers to as his Master: Pony Zangief. Pony famously beat several Dhalsim players in quick succession in a Tokyo vs. Osaka tournament.

I’d like ordinary humans to be able to play and enjoy Zangief, not just super heroes like Kuni and Pony. This first set of changes is for ordinary humans and has very little effect on the experts."

=

up back, up, up forward
back, neutral, forward
down back, down, down forward

so 236 means quarter circle forward.

when something is written like (4) it means to hold whatever direction for a second.
I finally understand this lol
