LOL, dude, you know I'm feelin this whole post because I deal with alot of artists myself, and egomania is alive and well out here. I think at the core of alot of our egomania is the lack of recognition as kids, or an unstable recognition of ourselves from others. Had we been told how talented we were and encouraged for it in a normal and healthy way as kids, you wouldn't have grown folks spazzing out at each other because of some finite marterial gain. I went through that phase, but being older and going through life's course shows you it's best to just be humble, even if you do have platinum gums in your mouth and shit. Cats like that have yet to know the difference between affection and respect. You don't get respect with a superstar complex, you simply give respect.

what i see is alot of niggaz droppin albums and expecting to jus blow up from word of mouth..alot of rappers need to hit those streets and really grind and promote thier music..example, kontac i wouldn't buy your cd in the store and thats being real, but if i where to see you in the mall or in front of rasputins i might buy 2 copys off you just cuz i got to meet you..you dont see j-stalin or philthy rich out here slanging cds but if they where im sure a crowd of niggaz and hoes would be gathered cuz they out here interacting with the people..like kontac said some niggaz are too big headed nowadays.just cuz you jumped on a song with e-40 doesnt make you on the same level as he is..im just using examples no offense to stalin,philthy or kontac hopefully niggaz can understand what im getting at here.
