LOL, dude, you know I'm feelin this whole post because I deal with alot of artists myself, and egomania is alive and well out here. I think at the core of alot of our egomania is the lack of recognition as kids, or an unstable recognition of ourselves from others. Had we been told how talented we were and encouraged for it in a normal and healthy way as kids, you wouldn't have grown folks spazzing out at each other because of some finite marterial gain. I went through that phase, but being older and going through life's course shows you it's best to just be humble, even if you do have platinum gums in your mouth and shit. Cats like that have yet to know the difference between affection and respect. You don't get respect with a superstar complex, you simply give respect.
