-dont fuck with paper plates or plastic cups becuz ur just goin to throw them away wen ur done. waste of money. just buy real ones and dont be lazy and wash the fuckers. unless u go ghetto and wash the plastic cups forks and spoons. thats coo to i did that.
-go to costco and buy bulk needs like soap, sponges, shampoo, dish soap, bathroom and other cleaning products and air fresheners and dont over use them and try to make them last for as long as u can!!
-vaccum u can get for like 40 bucks at target
-new mattress that u can just lay it on the floor. fuck it u dont need a headboard just yet.
-microwave with a lot of microwavable food.
-cant go wrong wit the george foreman grill

Check out the Free section on Craigslist. People are always giving away decent couches, tables, and the like. Something temporary, until you can stack enough for what you really want.

one tip: dont go dumb at the dollar tree. u cant buy ALL of ur household supplies there, cuz if all your shit is from the dollar store then best believe some of it is gonna break/not work good enough. if u wanna make it easy on urself, just make a big list of shit to get and go to walmart, big lots, ikea, whatever. and try not to buy swap meet furniture

I'm skipping all the replies and just postin' my answer... I've been on my own since I was 14 and I'ma say..... dont forget the towels.. lol.. and the blankets..

Microwave, can opener, garbage can, laundry soap are some common things to forget...

I'll never forget my first spot.. the first night my folks brought one of those 5lb cans of chili (more as a joke), some dollar store chips and a brick of cheese.. we smoked real big and were feelin' hella bad when we realized there was no can opener for that damn chili, no forks or knives or plates..... lol.. but shit.. we was 14 and life was allll good..

Being that I have been in your shoes and know how expensive it is to be 21 and to live in the Seattle area, SAVE, all the money that you can. Don't go to the clubs and bars, blowing all your money. Have fun but don't blow it all in a few months. Trust me life gets better when your older, dont try to experience it all in a few weeks.
