you touched on the one thing that stuck out to me from Stackin Chips, more than Explosive Mode...the cover was more eye catching, becuase for the time, it was like a lot of the other popular albums that were being released. I remember seeing it for the first time and thinking it was the 8 Ball and MJG cd, which had the cover of them on the pool table. But listening wise, i have gone through about 5 copies of EM and it will never get old. The very first time I heard Keak was in 94 on C-Bo's The Autopsy and he was definately someone that you knew had talent and sounded different. But with Quinn and Mess on EM, they were just better lyrically and with their delivery to me.
not in the literal sense obviously but fuck Stackin Chips was a str8 pillar in the bay game. It brought more recognition and raised the bar for bay rap groups.

Stackin Chips is one of my fav albums, and i actually felt a sense of accomplishment when i found and copped a copy of it a few years back. So I'ma go for it in this poll.
But if u ask me bout the best bay album in the past 10 years, my vote is for The Jack Artist.
