White guy? There's no way in the World that a white Norteno exists. Fuck them white boys out on the streets trying to bang Norteno. Everyone mistakes pale skinned homeboys for being white. Shit even I get mistaken for being white sometimes and I'm not. I usually let them know what I am. There's gente out there that look like Indians, Asians, Blacks and White but it doesn't make them it. They're Mexican or they might be mixed.
so you are saying Woodie is not Caucasian but that he is Chicano? I have seen him in real life he looks white there, he looks white in his pictures, his last name is WOOD, he doesn't know Spanish, and I have NEVER heard any Norteno claim that he is Chicano... so where are you getting this from? Yes I know supposedly he is part "Cherokee", but that has nothing to do with being Chicano.

You have never heard any Norteno calim Chicano? Shit the Nortenos up here claim it all the time. You're just not from up here to hear them say it. Also you can be Mexican and not speak Spanish. Speaking Spanish has nothing to do with it. I really don't give a fuck about that stupid ass movie Blood-In-Blood-Out also. Dumb ass movie. That fool who plays Miclo is a horrible actor. & I realize that knowing Spanish doesn't automatically make or break you from being Chicano, but if this is really a MENTAL issue and not an ETHNIC one (which it seems to be since Woodie has no Mexican roots), knowing Spanish would sure be a leg up for anyone ~trying~ to be Chicano. Blood in Blood out is a lame film but I was using that line to try and sum up what it seems you are saying about Woodie. Since thats not what you meant, you have yet to back up why you think he is Chicano.

The reason why I think he is Chicano is because no one in real life would allow a white boy bang Norteno. It will never happen. That's not even a Norteno if a white boy bangs it anyway that's just stupid. You're saying that Woodie has no Spanish roots. How do you know this? Did you ask him in person?
im not from northern cali but im sure theres some white guys who bang with the norteños....im not a huge fan of drf, lowdown, woodie and them but ive seen their cd covers....woodie has no latino features on him....he looks very white...but hey maybe hes not....he could be half white half latino....my cousins are pure latino and they got blonde hair so anything is possible....

Speaking Spanish doesn't mean shit. I don't speak it and I'm Mexican. You don't have to speak Spanish to be Mexican. I know a lot of homeboys and got some family that don't speak it and then again I got a lot homeboys and a lot family that does speak it. Also I'm not going to ask some guy on a message board what his nationality is. How do you guys even know these are the actual artists on these boards? It does matter what color you are. You can't be white and bang Norteno. Let's be real. Half of you guys aren't even Mexican or don't even live up here to actually speak on this shit anyways.

exactly....im not a mexican but i am a latino....and i have spent alot of time up in Daly City....ive noticed many non latino norteños....ive actually met a couple white and asian norteños when i went up there last.....and down here in l.a. i know a whole lot of white guys who are cholos.....hell they come up to me at parties and are like "shit i feel out of place, wheres all the eses at?"...lol i find it funny, just cuz they feel outta place with alot of white people....but on the real its how ur raised....that woodie foo was probably raised around latinos.....u dont gotta be chicano to be norteño as far as i know.....u just gotta be down for urs
