ALRIGHT folkz-let's make it cracc, this pertains to the VITAL CLASSIC's THREAD in the makin.

short and simple;
I'm not going to BOSS HOGG this thread and make it all about what I want.
I want your input on how we are going to build a SOUTHERN SICCNESS CLASSIC ALBUM list;

some things to consider;
-criteria for a classic?
-should there be some sort of a voting system, should there be a nomination process?

i just say its got to be more than 5 years old since it got released to be classic

i say since 95-96 was the height of GREAT RAP MUSIC, anything in the late 90's can be considered classic...............anything this side of the century i would say not old enough
Juvenile 400 Degreez or whatever, that shit was tight even tho i don't bump juvee

We could look at sales?

We could look at impact/influence at the time it was made and now?

And I'd say it would have to be 5 years or older to compete...

nothing after 2000, screwed and chopped cds should be included just because atleast one dj screw album has to make the list!i dunno about voting because there seems to be alot of "what are somedope old south albums?" threads so it seems somealbums may be looked over while voting, my 2 cents

Maybe we should do it year by year. Put all the classic albums from whatever the starting year is, and then start another year and keep listing them for that year and so on. If a separate thread is made for each year, maybe after a few weeks or a month, all the threads should be combined into one. Just a thought.
