My take on the matter:
1.) Having a child with a 13 year old when you're in your twenties makes you a child molester. Period.
2.) From all the research I've done, I'd say that no, the prosocution did NOT have damning, indisputable evidence against him. But, for whatever reason, the JURY saw/heard/read something they, collectively, didn't like, and found him GUILTY.
3.) I was a fan of his music BEFORE all of this, and still own 1 CD (Hustle Town). With that being said, I haven't been able to bring myself to buy another for 2 reasons: His newer music doesn't 'do it' for me, and I seriously think he needs to be in jail. The 9 year old...I don't know about that one. Sounded fishy to me. But you cannot dispute the fact that he FATHERED a child with a 14-year old girl. Your opinion < DNA evidence.
4.) 45 years IS a long ass time...
