It appears the Lane Kiffin experiment in Oakland may really be over this time ... no, really ... seriously.
Kiffin has been informed by Raiders officials that Al Davis intends to remove him as the team's head coach as early as Monday, FOXSports.com has learned.

Davis blamed Kiffin for the Raiders' 24-23 loss on Sunday to the Bills, and told his underlings that he will make the move on Monday. This same move was widely reported to be made last Monday and Kiffin survived, although last week began after a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

split locker room. season over for the raiders. fucking sucks.
Im thinking its a split locker room also......From what ive been reading alot of players support kiffin.......And i think it showed today with the performance.......I hope this aint true......The defense played well today, but they cant stay on the field forever......KEEP KIFFIN....

damn I really hope not... seriously...

I think kiffin fucked himself even worse by not callin a timeout at the end

although I think he made the wrong call by letting the clock run down I don't think he deserves to get fired

not saying that was the main reason... but that's prolly the straw that broke the camels back...

well just wait and see what happens

KEEP KIFFIN!!!!!

It's Kiffin's fault they lost, he should have called more passing plays so our defense wouldn't have been put back out on the field. Kiffin has no confidence in our passing game and that's what cost us and his job. He's a scary ass loser. He knew we were only down by 2 points, his dumbass got conservative instead of putting the nail in the coffin!

Keep Kiffin
Fire Tony!

lol... nah it's all good Tony

we all Raiders fans... but I disagree with you bruh

I know Kiffin makes mistakes... he's not the best coach in the league... but he's a young coach who gets respect from the players... and he's been able to turn around the chemistry of the team

If Kiffin sticks around him and the team can all come up together and startin meshin real well

and we don't want J. Russ to have to learn a new offense... that's never a good thing for young QB's

kiffin will be a good nfl coach someday. just not with the raiders.

you know watching the last 6 minutes of the game over, i've come to this logical conclusion: i really feel the defense is to blame for this lost. blitzes and pressure 3 1/2 quarters and prevent to lose the game. in the nfl the teams that make the playoff's have balls and win games, not try to not lose them. kiffin was to conservative the 2nd half too, but with rob ryan and the press conference last week, kiffin probably disagreed in the defenseive play calling, and refused to call timeout leaving the offense 30-40 seconds for a 60 yarder by jano, he said fuck you al davis and rob ryan, we are winning or losing this your way. he will be fired tommorrow, this chess match thats hurting the raiders as a team, should end. i like hiffin but know a coach with any intelligence doesnt leave 2 timeouts on the field. i think its obvious.

so can the raiders approach and current coach/OC/DC and make an immediate offer? or is there a cutoff as with trades in week 6? or can they only approach unemployed coaches?
