It aint the music industry declining, the record buying public want to be entertained and dance. Most of the people on this site are probably 18-mid or late 20's. When 40 was really poppin in the 90's, all his fans were 15-early 20's and now all of them are grown now and most likely dont buy rap like they used to. So now the yunggins are on the 50, Eminem, Mike Jones, Paul Wall etc, See the record buying public dont care about street cred, originality, a hot 16, and all that bullshit, they want to be ENTERTAINED.
