I said in another thread, you really gotta listen to it front to back and listen to the story too, that shit actually works out pretty cool in my opinion.....He actually accomplished the movie album concept

The narration by DE and and the ending is fuckin' sick....... that is so god damn raw......Lynch just came back onto the level I used to expect from him and took an album to a level I've never seen because of the concept and his execution of the idea........

Well thanks for your opinion. I like it bc Lynch rips it, the beats are dope, the concept of the album is dope, the album is DOPE. Its your opinion that you dont like it, dont rip ppl's taste for music, why do you think what you like is so much better? Its all opinions.

I didnt really like the movie aspect of it, too generic and predictable... but I did enjoy 75% of the music that was on there... kinda missed his flow though... overall I like

You're gonna say that while you have Street Hop in your avatar? I usually love Royce, Death Is Certain will always be one of my favorites, but Street Hop was a massive disappointment

I think it's alright. Didn't blow me away or anything but maybe it'll grow on me. When you dedicate on album to one thing it's hard to follow one theme and not sound repetitive and while listening I sort of drifted off in between songs because of that. His flow wasn't bad but every once in awhile it'd be off. The production was really good though. It really set the tone and mood for the songs.

the album definitely has a a handful of dope tracks. few decent tracks...and a bunch of skits i dont care for

oh well...its 13 songs, good hour of music.

ill be listenin to this cd for at least a week or 2
see, maybe that's the problem for me... I'm to the point with rap where an album has to really impress me on the first listen, or at LEAST a few tracks have to stand out for me to give a shit about it... for example, from K.O.D. I still have Demons, Shadows on the Road, & the title track on my mix CD for the ride in constant rotation... that's what I like, tracks that don't get old months later, that I can still listen to... after a listen through Dinner and a Movie, I knew nothing on this album would qualify for that. That's why it ended up in the trash.

Every track other than the skits are pretty memorable in my opinion. They're all dope and Lynch seems hungry with his raps again.
Murder Over Hard, Don't Worry Momma..., Nutbagg and Another Killin
are epic atleast.
