Blu Ray storage so far has been a big disadvantage for games, as the loading times are painfully slow.

All most developers do with that space is leave stuff uncompressed, so it really doesn't mean much in the long run.

1. EA did not make NBA 2K8.

2. For a system that is so much more powerful than the PS2, to have the same loading times, is really bad. I never had an Xbox, but the 360 loads a hell of a lot faster than my PS2, and almost as fast as my Wii.

I just got a PS3...fuckin love it so far.

And the whole HDDVD vs Blu-Ray is won by no one yet. I see more commercials for HDDVD players, but everytime there is a commercial for a movie coming out on DVD, they always advertise it as "coming [inset date here] on DVD and Blu-Ray"....

Go figure.

It has a fee, but the online community is 10x better than the playstation community. Quality.

I bought a 360 last year because the Ps3 was going to cost too much, but now since it came down in price, and the games I play, madden, rainbow 6, and COD4 are all on the Ps3. I might have to scoop it up with the profit I get from selling a couple of wiis. Metal Gear and the Grand Turismo series are some of the best games I had on Ps2..........

these xbox only games as of late like gears of war and halo 3 are pretty weak....

i perfer that they dont make a 360 with da hddvd built into it cuz once it fucks up u gotta replace da whole system id rather replace a $200 dollar system then a 500 dollar system any given day

Sega did not make NBA 2K8 either. Visual Concepts developed the game, 2K Games published it.


They obviously have better developers at VC than they do at EA. Although All Pro Football, developed by the same company, has the same issues on PS3 that Madden 08 does.
