I was referring to the use of the word "they".
I don't understand why some homies use it so often.
Why not just say "their chrome is peeling off" instead
of "they chrome is peeling off"?
I notice homeboys from the Central Valley, Salas, and
sorrounding areas don't use Nigga and act more Mexican.
Even scrapas say that lots of Nortenos act black. Whatever
that means. That they (scraps) are more Mexican.
Then I notice that lots of homeboys from San Fran area
do use Nigga this and Nigga that, and wear the Fubu's and wear their cap to the side n shit. What happened to wearing 501's all creased up with Converse and the derby?

people in my area? Non-bangers (which is most of society) can do as they please for the most part. LA is a big place it's not hard to meet someone. What exactly are you getting at? Cholos can fuck whoever they want and some make it a point to bone hynas in rival varrios. Should anyone get pregnant then oh well you know how some cowards do and you know how some of them can stick to their mistake and be there for their kids. As far as mixing race... there aint no reason for them to do it there is usually enough mexicans in the area that they dont see anything else anyway but that doesnt mean it doesnt happen on occasion.
Yup I am feelin that, but I grew up in a mostly blacc hood (oak park) so I was influenced by them but I am my own person dress and talk my own way you feel?

Shit as far as what you sport i could care less. I tend to dress more cholo and shit. Dickies, whife beater, pens, chucks, locs, red belts, and shit like that. I never use nigga cuz that shit is disrespectful to the bacl homiez and besides its not like they go around saying "mojado." As far as fubu that to me is a black thing, anything else is cool. ecco you can wear if you want, sean john you can wear if you want. I generally don't. I have 1 red ecco shirt and a yellow sean john on but that's it. And as far as scraps go I've seen a bunch of scraps sporting fubu and shit like that but that's only so that the homeboyz can't tell if they scraps or normal civilianz. But fuck that as far as more mexican. Nortenos are chicanos, mostly, scraps are all paisanos and in LA they're closer to the frontera so they're easily influnced by real Mexican shit, not some scrap shit. And as far as them calling me a farmero fuck that I'm straight up farmero, with the red chucks, and the huelga bird hat on mothafuckas.

but what i meant is that on the streets and the pen not just this board, most nortenos are chicano. And what i meant by my second statement was that in LA, its close to the border so There are a lot of mexicans, real fresh ones that have just recently crossed the border, so they're influenced by what they see. And that's mexicans. Although i know there are black gangs in LA i know they don't generally get along with latino gangs. so they set themselves apart and don't hang together. So they don't tend to look alike. Where as the bay is more accepting and you see all tyoes of shit up here in the North. You'll see black nortes, Mexican Crips, etc. So i guess what i was getting at was that in LA mexicans have their on style, some are into the mojado look, others the cholo look, others the ranchero look, etc. And although I do flame up I am a flamed up cholo. Yeah of course not JUST on the board but anyone can take the large Norteno representation seen on the Siccness (which has got to be at least 5% of it's board members) and proportionally figure that there are definitely alot of full-blooded Chicano Nortenos out there but that there are also many many MANY Nortenos who are simply not. No matter how fake and pointless people make out the internet to be, the Siccness is a vague indicator of something much larger in the real world (primarily Northern CA).

I don't feel like making a new poll targeting any certain group so I guess that's that.

I was brought up around nothing but Mexicans, I'm only half mexican. THe black population of Salinas is small to non-existent. Salinas like OSO said in another post is a gangbang city to the fullest. The homeboys dress like cholos, the scraps dress like cholos. That is all there is to it. Both sides wear what they want to though. A lot of homeboys dress up in pimp shit to go to clubs and shit, A lot of scraps put on their cowboy hats, boots, cowboy boots, and wranglers and go to the mexican clubs around here and vice versa depending on the person. I've met and seen Northerners that can hardly speak english and I've met scraps that don't speak a word of spanish.
