well i got a raise after almost being lured to the cc times...shook some hands this year, continued to work out, started collecting jordans again, continued to go to school...

one goal i had was to get an apartment with my best friend in sept, but we both decided to stay at home and not pay rent. i'd be nice to move out, but i know it's not happening.

right now, my goal is to track down these damn nine west boots before the end of the week.

but for 2006, i plan on raising my gpa and finish the math courses i have been avoiding...get a digi cam..and lose this weight i gained this past year. =/

It was a real good year for me and my label Platinum Bound Entertainment. We dropped "Derogatory Statements Vol.2" the first quarter, that did well in the streets, the response was big. I also did ALOT of shows this year, in Portland, Modesto, Frisco, Pacifica, Oakland, Fremont, Ukiah, Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, and more...I also threw 2 sucessful shows at the Octopus Lounge, one for Tilts B-Day party and one for my "Smokey Robinson" Record Release. I promote and market my music and label EVERYWHERE I go, and I stay movin, I stay hittin shows, I stay in peoples face wit this shit. We had 2 real big instore autograph sessions wit Fonky Chicken in Vacaville and in Suisun. I went on Tour wit Playa Rae, The Monsta Mash Tour. I appeared on over 20 mixtapes this year, and about 10-15 albums. I just dropped my new mixtape "Smokey Robinson", and its doing REAL WELL. I'm also currently pushing my new single "Mainey Musik" feat Lee Majors, Produced by BC.....Look for alot more music from me and BC. I also did a remix to Mainey Musik Feat Mista Fab, Kobra Abysmal and Stizon Skrilla, ITS HOT!!!!! We also appeared on KPOO, KPFA, SacTown Radio, 97.7KWINN, 102.5FM, and more. I dropped a underground mixtape just for the record release party called "The Mainey Musik Tour Vol.1" featuring Keak, The Federation, Mac and AK, Mista Fab, Husalah, Lee Majors, NBD, Stizon Skrilla, Young Moe, and MANY MORE. Also just for the streets I released a underground CD called "BootLegs, Blunts and Beer Bottles" mostly new tracks wit about 3-4 older ones from previous releases. I give those out at shows, clubs, events. etc....I love this music, I love pushin this shit, I love gettin the response from fans and just people in general, I love being in the studio, the music will not stop, PLATINUM BOUND ENTERTAINMENT. I also attended both Bay Area Rap Summits, had a booth at the first one, networked and gained alot of info at both of them. We also hit the Bay Area Rap Awards, and that was a huge success, it was real good to see my dude Mac Dre win 4 awards. Appeared in Explosive Magazine and Southwest Bound.

Next year, my new solo "Keep Smoke Alive" featuring The Game, Sean T, Mista Fab, Keak The Sneak, Young Dru, Jacka, and more...will be released the first quarter. Also, the new release by me, Stizon Skrilla and Kobra Abysmal will drop called the BCC, Break Cash Club. We got alot of other stuff in the works too, just workin hard, tryin to get it and keep it movin. 1 luv, Happy New Year....

Left the Navy to go to recording arts school, finished the program and now can't really do nothing with what I learned since I have too many bills to work for free as an intern. I now work at safeway and I don't think I'm gonna stay a civilian for much longer unless I can find a much better job, I'm gonna try to get myself back into the navy and back overseas where I was making good money. Musically I'm still just a check out my soundclick beatmaker but I'm pretty good i guess. I'll try to invest my money into new gear when I have enough to spare on that kind of stuff and try to do my thing just for the pure satisfaction of making a tght beat, if I make any money great if not its ok cuz I do it for my own enjoyment.

Good job homies!!!
Last year was a cool year, I worked twards having a better year in 06, meaning I worked on grants that I wanted to have ready and I was able to recieve one. I got a 100,000 dollar grant to be able to write and finish my screenplay by 2007. The funding will be going twards the youth I will be teaching to do what I do and the young up and coming published writers I will be hiring on to my project as well as expenses for various things I may need for writing teaching and rehearsal space.
I have been writing alot, so I will be able to put together and publish a book.
I also started an entertainment/promtion company to produce hip hop/music shows to raise money for the youth in the hip hop community.
My band has gotten better and did a few shows and had our first magazine artlcle! We have yet to record but that is coming soon :)
Ive also gotten into a couple magazine spreads, run way shows and websites.
last year was very inspiring I learned more and met new people to connect and work with all is love.......things can only get better.

peace dub

2005 was a huge jump for myself. I went to iraq for a minute, came back and dropped six months worth of paychecks into a home studio. I connected with mad people. I'm sitting on a CG verse and a Gorilla Pits verse to jump start my comp I'm working on. I started making beats and I sold my first 2 beats within days of making them. I connected with an old buddy of mine who is nice with the beats, now he's on my squad. Now I'm working on building tracks for this comp and selling beats.
On a personal note being away from your spouse for 7 months does wonders for a relationship. After a while being back I must say my marriage has been the best its been compared to before I deployed.

Many people have had a major impact on my life and this is coming from my heart. Seeing kontacs success with beats by the bay, watching smigg go from silas to god made dirt and all the projects he's been involved with. Watching a-wax and how he's become a lightweight celebrity as well as everything he's been a part of not to mention the plaque he got for bash's album, hearing gorilla pits in rotation on a regular, son of a pimp (need I say more), keaks and mac dre's articles in xxl...all of these people have inspired me to carry on cause honestly I'm still broke but I DO foresee success in my future. I know this is a long ass post...oh well.
