Some Car Audio Questions

guys im lookin to get a system as well but i dont know shit about the equipment, i got a 91 eldorado, both driverside speakers are blown so im gonna have to replace those, also im looking at picking up some 12"s and an amp, i got a G so spend but im looking to use only like $500 of that if i can, am i fuckin crazy to think i can get a decent system with those speakers for around 500? ill spend the g if i have to, let me know thanks

Is Sony shit any good? Cause I just recently ran into some problems with my car... The engine needs to be replaced. So if I put anything in it right now, it's gonna be some cheap shit.
