Actually a majority of people that I know in the military went because 1)Their parents forced the to do so as punishment for messin up in high school

parents cant force kids to go into the army.

2) Had no other means to pay for college other than to go in the service first....

so in other words they volunteered to go to the armed forces. and in return will have their college paid for them.

You know y we did that. Bcause when u go into Urban warfare with another country going into there towns u get raped. The Shock and awe campaigne is to save US troops. And there has yet to be 1 reported dead civilian because of it. The iraqi officals who lied and said we were retreating. only said there was 200 injured and no dead. These are the people liing to us. so we prolly injured maby 50. And i will not lose sleep over 50 injured iraqis knowing my brothers and sisters in arms will suffer less casualties.

Actually, if your parents make you enlist while you're still under 18, then you can't really get out of it. Your parents can also agree to let you go once you are 17 1/2
