I'm gonna go ahead and address the "artist spamming" topic that was brought up at the beginning of this thread.
I personally have no problem with any music, great or wack, being posted up here to listen to as long as there's certain criteria being followed.
1. The person posting isn't acting on behalf of the artist the thread features.
2. The artist posting his music uses "OT", like previously stated.
And the biggest thing for me is
3. The artist respects the forum members and has the capacity to take constructive and deconstructive criticism.
Some of the past artists that have posted their info automatically came in here like we, the fans, owed them a listen. I can remember one guy in particular that came in and called us peasants and said he was better than us because he was a musician. The only reason he said that was because his attitude was felt through the initial post in his own thread. He came in cocky and left butthurt because he got clowned at his own expense. If you don't have the brain matter between your ears to suggest to musical fans that they should listen to you, you're fighting a losing battle on this forum. We are hard headed by nature and we take no thought at telling you to hit the bricks if you're insulting us with shitty music and your foul-ass attitude.
With that said, I like listening to Zelaya's music when he posts and I would go so far as to show him real respect because of how he relates the fans to his posts. Even if I met him in the streets he would get that respect from me. And Speedy, I welcome anything you have to offer the forum. You've proven yourself as a respectable person and I have nothing but love for you because of it.
