I just seen a story on kron ch. 4 a Oakland business owner out with Oscar grant t shirt trying to reason with the looters and the looters told him we don't care and still smashed his business. The business owner THEN tries to flag down the cops (they were Everywhere in oak lastnight) and the cops were ignoring him just standing in a big ass line. Those b**ch ass cops were just there to just collect overtime pay, they were not even trying to help stop the looting/rioting. That story made me sick, fucking pigs don't ever want to help anyone in need.

07-09) 07:11 PDT OAKLAND -- Two men were shot and killed in separate homicides in Oakland, police said today.
Rick Redmond, 32, of Oakland was shot on the 2400 block of 77th Avenue in East Oakland at about 5:20 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Jeff Thomason, Oakland police spokesman.
Officers who responded to reports of a shooting discovered that someone had already taken Redmond to Highland Hospital in Oakland, Thomason said. Redmond was pronounced dead at the hospital.
At 6:23 p.m. Thursday, a 31-year-old man was shot numerous times near the corner of 7th Avenue and Foothill Boulevard east of Lake Merritt, Thomason said. A witness reported that someone had been chasing the victim while firing a gun, police said.
When officers arrived, they found the victim lying on the ground while surrounded by a crowd of onlookers, Thomason said. The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
No arrests have been reported in the slayings, and a motive in each case is under investigation, police said.
