Damn was I dissapointed. The city is quiet as fuck, didn't see too many folks walkin around felt like I was in the country. Didn't find any apt I liked much that was up to my standards. I went to at least 6 different apts and they all bunk. Went to the apts at greenhaven road, they said that's the nicest area in sac to live? BOOOO. Anyway, I drove around and the city is unattractive, not at all what I thought it was gonna be. All the stores looked old as fuck, hella loitter everywhere lol.. I was on J street, crossed the bridge to I don't know what road. Went on Howe st., went to CSUS and Sac city, dissapointed with CSUS' campus, sac city looks way more attractive. I haven't been downtown nor to the malls yet, but I'm lookin for a luxury apt w/ 2 bed and 2 bath, plus wash/dry IN UNIT, satellite, nice sized pool, good parking, and around CSUS and Sac City. Anyone know any apts in between or near them that are up to my standards? I forgot to check out woodlake close apts, that was my pick too fuck. Went to Shorepark apts, cadillac rd. area apts, hidden lake apts, lake reserve apts, tallyho apts, and some others. I like the greenhaven area but that shit is 13 miles from CSUS. Also location that's near the mall, since that's where I think I'll find a job. I didn't know they had 3 malls there, I'm lookin forward to seein' Arden and Westpoint (think it's the name). Are both malls cool? Anyway holla. And fuckin A, when I was headed back home after an exhausted ass day, the traffic going into sac was CRAZY. It was at least over 10 miles long of traffic, it was from Sac to fuckin fairfield DEEEEEEEYYYAM, I'd shoot myself if I had to wait that long.

I really dont blame ya; Sac is pretty much boring all around IMO, cuz theres not so much to do for fun... Reno, NV was pretty boring too but not as much as Sac... I shouldve gone to Lake Tahoe to go fishing or snowboarding or hiking just to pump up form the all around boredom... only if I had up to a grand a lil mo' huh...?..

Shit, I still have a chance to go to the 619. Heading more towards 916 cuz it's close and it's cheap. Only way I can down to dago is if a friend hooks it up with a place...Higly unlikely but still possible!!!. You like Dago or Sac better?

Nice Apts?
Natomas, Laguna, Rosevill/Rocklin, Folsom. You aint really gonna find some fancy ass Apt by a College.

Malls? The only ok ones are Downtown PLaza and Arden. Florin is cool if you dont mind the Ghetto folks. Country Club Mall is mostly old folks and wanna be High Sadidy. Rosevilee Galleria I really dont go to so I cant speak on it. They are Building another mall in Elk Grove though.

The night life is Downtown though.

If you lookin for luxury spots, Try Roseville or Natomas. They're both close to malls . Run you at least 1000 per month for a nice one that's gated with a garage.

The apts I live in are cool if you dont mind the "low income" scene. $600 a month is a little pricy(for us atleast), but it's like a mile from Florin Mall. There's 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, and so on. The pool is a nice size, but it's dirty. The University is basically at the end of the rd, you just have to turn onto College Town Dr.

Edit: I just noticed you were in the market for a "Luxury" apartment..Dang

You asking alot dog, you gotta take your pick, luxury apt or close to mall/college. Not gonna find both. Them apts on Truxel Rd. between 80 and Del Paso Rd. are pretty nice. I think there are some more nice one's in N.Natomas too. As far as malls, Arden was my choice. Gettin' into funk at Florin Mall used to be cool back in the day, but I ain't got time for that shit no more. Now im going to the mall cause I want to buy something, not just for social reasons. Country Club doesn't really have much going for it, it's like a ghost town most days. Only made it out to Roseville Galleria once

I thought the same when I went to sac fam.
You went to sac and did ya get what ya wanted?

It's hard, I ain't tryna live outside of Sac cuz I'm puttin the price of gas into consideration. Location is the most important than the luxury. We plannin' on droppin $1100 which is a shitload, and they are out there but it's too far from the CSU. I'm headed over to near the Arden mall area, haven't scoped out that area yet.

Thanks for y'alls advices. I don't know wtf Natomas is, I don't understand wtf it is. I'm sure I've been there already yesterday and I didn't even know it. I went to eat at jack n the crack and there was only 2 workers workin lol. Sac has HELLA trees.

My friend moved to Sac from the Penninsula and he said it was hella crackin in comparason, he said there are hella hoes in sac that are down to kick it. Penninsula hoes have the tendency to be hella stuck up if they arent wrecked from doing drugs and shit. I was thinking of moving out there myself cuz the bay is getting way too expensive

San Diego is alot better than Sac due to the fact that theres so much to do since San Diego is very much spread out. But just from my advice you dont wanna stay in San Diego for a while because the apt rent are very high, especially even higher by Downtown and the malls and other landmarks. A 1 bed apt. near downtown can be as much as $900 and a "luxurized" one even higher, a know the condos built right in front of Downtown is over $1400 and thats devastating for someone to be making "bank" wage unless if it was first bought and theres a few studio apts that are gettin worn out but are even higher than $650 which was more than a year ago. Youll be stressed in Dago, buddy! Consider visiting here instead like in the summer...

I was gonna say something about it but I was gonna be an ass so I didn't say nothing.

You said the traffic going into Sac was backed up for at least 10 miles all the way to Fairfield, I thought "Fairfield is alot farther than 10 miles from Sac." But yeah man, it's ugly, and it don't even matter what day or time, it's just like that. I did notice though that it damn near came to a stop once you got by the Cordelia Junction(680 and 80). After you get by that, traffic is heavy, but it's moving, you can get up to the speed limit at least. And then it flows all the way till you get to Davis/W.Sac where it slows down again. I never experienced the slow traffic from the Valley Joe to Sac, that's not normal.
