word, I mean I was pretty tight with my cousins, but they all live in LA. I can't stand it when people say "oh you're an only child, you're so lucky"

I know exactly what you mean, all my extended family lives on the east coast and that blows also although when I was younger I would always take trips to Maine and New York so I guess it didn't entirely suck. I bet hardly anyone here has even been to Maine.
