apparently you didn't understand what i meant.
his life belongs to them until his contact ends. and trust me, he can't do whatever he wants. i'd like to see him smoke weed all weekend long and then come back, get drug tested, and still stay there and not get discharged.
4 years is a long god damn time too. fuck all that. all you guys are proud of him for signing up for some armed forces shit....fuckin retards...whether or not he's going to war, he gave someone else complete rights to his fucking livelihood as a human being. i was trying to be respectful about this...but he made a DUMB fuckin decision as far as human integrity and character goes, in my opinion. fuck the money, if that's all you care about then you ain't no better than the people running this country into the ground.

i don't get it... godfather is a smart dude, i know he posted how good he tested on that one test, but its like, c'mon man, your smart, why don't you just go on to more school and get scholarships to help pay for it? then AFTER you take some REAL history classes, and learn about the government from a college student's perspective then you could decide if the goverment is still a good choice to enlist in...
its like, ok, if you become a cop, yeah you get paid pretty nicely, but then YOU'RE A COP for god sakes! lol.

He's right, I worked with a guy that joined the military as an ATC and he said it was crazy stressful and the tech school is rediculously hard. He cross trained first chance he got.
While I was in Iraq I went up in to the tower once just to say what it was like and I can't even imagine doing that shit. Theres like a 30 minute span everyday where shit gets "really slow" so they can drive the street sweepers on the runway. Well that was the only time they let people tour the tower so all I saw was the "slow time". Fuck that shit, it was hectic as fuck and people looked all stressed. I thought dude was joking when he said it was slow. He was telling me it gets out of control some times. That's one job you really can't fuck up either. If you do, you could cause like a 40 million dollar accident, shit more then that even not to mention the killing of all the pilots and crew.
If that sounds like something you can do and want to do then good luck to you dude. See if you can go talk to someone in the air force in that job, preferably someone that just got out of tech school. Don't listen to the recruiter, his job is to feed you shit so you join.
