the jew egg was great...that movie was just perfectly over the top...something irritates the fuck out of me when people's opinions of a movie are ruined because they expected too much out of it. fuck other people's opinions, just see it if u want to.

yall really thought it was that funny?

like everyone in the theatre would laugh cuz he said sexy time...im just like...????

there were some parts i liked, like him drinking and driving and the redneck rodeo scene but it was just a little weak to me
If I could get in-depth without sounding academic.....

The more into language you are, the more slang you use, the larger your vocab, etc........the more about Borat you'll "get".

For example: Saying "make a sex" or "sexy time" is 100x funnier than just saying "fuck", especially when a foreigner says it. When he says shit that no English speaker would ever say, like "sexy intercourse".....me personally, I'm ready to fall out of my seat. -- It's not just the accent or saying things in a funny way.....he CREATES new shit.

Sure, there's the Racism and Sexism, and making people look stupid, but me personally, it's the Borat Vocabulary that kills me.

Oh yeah....movie i didn't find very funny...... Old School. Anchorman is one of my all-time favorites, but O.S. just wan't it.

As much as i despise this man, he is on point. It's Borat's complete ignorance of the US, and pretty much everything outside Kaz--whatever the fuck--that makes it funny. Saying things out of context even though you KNOW what he is trying to say.

Especially about Old School. Only thing remotely funny in there was Vince Vaughn.

LIKE I SAID IT'S TOM GREEN WITH A STACHE..IF YOU CAN'T SEE THAT SHIT, YOU ARE ALL CAUGHT UP IN THAT HYPED UP MAINSTREAM COMMERCIALIZED POP CULTURE BULLSHIT
Borat is NOTHING like Tom Green. Borat is a fictional character played by Sasha Cohen. Tom Green is, well, Tom Green. And Tom Green was not funny at all.

i get the fact that people outside of the states are different from americans, ive known alot of foreign exchange students..i just fail to see the actual comedy in that, any more so than any person ive ever met that came from another country.

was this a movie for people who didnt go away to 4-year colleges with huge populations? i mean, ive seen funnier shit dealing with clashing of cultures in my dorms..it was like the plot tried to be funnier than it was executed in the script..

i wasnt even interested in what was gonna happen when he met pamela anderson i just wanted to take a piss. most movies ill hold it, if its at a climatic moment.

and i knew they werent gonna kill him at the rodeo or it wouldnt be on the movie...so it wasnt that edgy for me...shit was boring...

i liked reno 911 better and reno 911 wasnt even great...it was just entertaining at best
