Thanks man, I think that what Snug was saying is that a person who lives/has lived a lifestyle close to his or Skatterman's will feel the tracks on a much higher level than the average listener. Conformity is not a part of Strange Music, and Snug shows that by keeping the lyrics street and not trying to manipulate the music to the ears of mainstream. He raps about what he knows/has gone through.

I know a lot of rappers in the 785, and I know its got its rough spots as most places do. I think his 785 reference was trying to say that the music is 816 as in it speaks about places in Kansas City and refers to things that have happened in or around KC. Therefore a listener from KC will relate to the music on another level just like the person who has lived/lives a street lifestyle.

I think that's right or atleast part way right.
