I stay over in Lower QA right near the Key/Pesos/Ozzies. I had a good laugh when you were talking about why you stopped going to Ozzies a bit back.
I almost moved down that way, but settled on Ravenna instead: much quieter and more neighborhood oreinted.

My buddy works door at Ozzies and I never have to wait in the line that they NEVER USED to have, but I just dont like the atmosphere there. I actualy worked their one night as the door man becuase the other dude was out of town. Matter of fact, that was one year ago exactly! Free meal (their food is farily good) and free shots all night...plus all the meet and greet with the pussy that walked through the door.

On that note, FUCK Ozzies. I only frequent Ballard now and occasionally visit OVERLY crowded Fremont (that place went to shit, too).

I hang out at Ballard Bar & Grill across from Hale's Ale Brewery on Leary...thats my Cheers. Stop in and have a shot on a Friday or Saturday night...ill most likely be shootin a terrible game of pool.

Ozzie's does fucking suck. I used to go there a lot back in the days (early 2000's) because my buddy was fucking some chick that worked there so we got hooked up for free/cheap. Damn near everytime we went there we got in a fight or a fight broke out with other people.

I played the whole bar/club scene out within my first 2 years of being drinking age. I don't think I've been to a club since 2004 and I haven't been to a bar in over a year. Neither is my type of place really.

CLubs suck balls, and not in a good way.

Most of my female friends are club rats and always have their b-day parties at this places...i refuse to go. My friend had her b-day most recently at Heaven's...blah.

I only really go to like 2 different spots, but i dont drink as much and i try and save my money on shit like clothes and new technology (im shopping for a new DVD player next).

Yeah this coming up Christmas will be two years since I've been drunk at all and it's been a little over a year since I have even drank anything. And I used to be a big drinker, getting sloppy 4-5 times a week. I've saved a lot of money and been able to buy a lot of things that I really wanted by giving up drinking (weed too.)

My roomate and I almost got a place over there that would have been like $75 cheaper for both of us then where we are now, a little bigger, closer to both our works, and had parking...but the fucker has a cat and he wouldn't get rid of it. Son of a bitch.

It's prob. good though because the apts were like literally a 2 minute walk from Easy Street records and I spend enough money as is there, I would have gone broke lol. Plus I really do like the spot we got so I guess it's alright.

haha Yeah I could just about hit Easy Street with a baseball on a good toss.

Its definitely not a quiet neighborhood, but I am not ready for that yet anyways.

The funny thing about Ozzies is I used to go there when I was like 19-20 and one of my homies with a fake would just go in then the go to the back by the pool table to open the door and let us in. The place would be dead on any given fri/sat.

Now they got a line everytime I go. I don't really like the place all that much, but the convenience of walking keeps me going back lol.
