Is it possible to care about the integrity of your music and still make money?Hmmmmm? You can take your music seriously and still make it marketable to the mainstream. Jay-Z did it. He spits as hard as the best of'em. Nas did it. Even on his most radio friendly shit, he be spittin'. The most talented MC's are the ones who can maintain their musical integrity and still sell. Plus, when you get as big as Snoop, anything you put out is going to sell just because it's Snoop, so why not make some tight music that niggas can feel? Jay-Z's last single was "99 Problems" - that shit is hard as fuck (even though he got it from Ice-T). Look at Nas' first single "Thiefs Theme". He's like "fuck it, I got the mainstream, so now I'm gone make the kind of music that me and my niggas can feel". And just because a nigga comments on what he doesn't like, don't mean that he's hatin'. We are all music critics, or we wouldn't be on the siccness. And just because a nigga is rich don't mean that he cant be criticized. I'd rather be called a hater than a dick rider! Peace.
Maybe he is making the music that he is feelin'? If so, then he's wack. What's wrong with hip hop listeners saying that a nigga is wack? It's sad that we've gotten to the point where niggas just go along and agree with everything, because they don't want to be called a hater. I was defending Snoop up until he became so corny. But I guess he does have to stick to that character to still be viable in today's mainstream. That's understandable. I'm just sayin', If it's wack then it's wack, regardless of who you are. In his defense, he has attemted to help niggas on the West. Most of the people who he attempted to help, squandered the opportunity and didn't take full advantage. Alot of these niggas thought that Snoop was supposed to baby-sit them. It's up to each individual artist to know the business. Snoop wasted his time on alot of muthafuckas with minimal talent, like E-White, Kokane (west coast fossil)etc...Where did they go? Peace.

That's true. I wouldn't go as far as sayin' "Fuck Snoop", cause it's not that serious. He's probably a cool nigga. I'm just commenting on him from a musical stand point. Aint no reason for niggas to be mad at him. I'm gone keep makin' music regardless of what the next nigga is doing. None of us know him personally to be calling him a bitch. He did do alot for the West Coast and we owe him that respect. So I take it you're a real big Snoop fan? Peace.
