Snoop Dogg calls on the Bay for the Westcoast summit

If you ask me I think its a joke. This was not the "Western Conference" I thought it would be. Having ONE representative from the "bay" compared to the bulk of So Cal artists does not make me feel any better about anything. I know them cats is doing it in the major industry and im happy for that. I just dont like that whenever the industry thinks of California its always a representation of Southern California. I feel that a certain someone on another site put it real well that unless everyone is involved its a wash. And this was a private thing, there were many artists that were not allowed to attend. How can you unify anything when you turn away artists who are there to take part in a "peace" event. This was a good event for a term I like to call "good press", i smell bullshit.
Take my word, the Summit taking place here over the weekend will be a lot more effective than that "private" unity thing they had down there.

Has the summit went down already? I understand there was a "private" conference held, but was that it, is there anything else to come? If not that's some fake ass shit. From what I understand it was more of a peace treaty from southern cali niggas, thizz ent was the only ones representin northern cali. Something this big requires more than just an invitation, there should be time and preparation. why would you give shot outs on a local station then hold a conference a couple days later? half the niggas he gave it up too probably didnt even get the msg. if he was real about west coast unity he could've holla'd at all them kats personally, it wouldve been more respectable and he wouldve been takin more seriously.

Actually Crip, this conference was to basically get the organization together, most of the folks that was called out either already new or was being contacted, they'll be having these conferences pretty often and there going to have one in Sac or the Yay, so it's going down loc, trust me niggaz is coming together like good dope.

Snoop didn't call a Southern Cali summit, he called a WESTCOAST SUMMIT, and all hood summit, he could have just reunited all the cats from Southern Cali, but he didn't, he called on "WESTCOAST". you can be down or say fuck it, but i do gurantee niggaz that's on the hatin tip, will follow lead eventually.
When it comes for unity in the west coast i'm all up for it. i can't knock what they tryin to do i salute snoop for taking a big step and sayin fuck the beef's and fuck the bullshit. is a bussiness and that's how he looking at it. everybody thinkin out here in the west we a joke. there's many talented artist's maybe some of them not being mentioned by snoop. but you know what i think cat's sit down on their asses waiting for snoop to call them. why don't you aproach them and say hey i wanna be included don't let your ego get in the way. take a step forward to this movement i'm lovin it tho and i love the west coast.
