imo opinion Royce definately is teh best one in that group honest i think royce raps better then eminem now. just my two cents

each have their moments but in terms of raw lyricism crooked outshines them more times than anyone else IMO. listen to "loud noises" on the bad meets evil - he edged out eminem on that one. thats one of the best rap verses i've heard in the past 5-10 years.

yeah maybe saying the yela album "fuckin sucked" was a little harsh, but it was definitely bad and a big disappointment. i was expecting a lot more.

Yeah crooked a beast dont get me wrong im just saying i kinda felt like royce been standing out the most in the last year or two.

you wasnt harsh bc you entitled to your own opinion just as equal as anyone else so nobody can bash you for that. if u dont like it then its nothing no one can do to make u like it. i respect the fact that you being honest and chopping it up. you not the first person i heard say they didnt like yelawolf album though. The reason i liked that yelawolf album so much was because i feel its one those albums thats ahead of its time. it was creative original bc it was rounded and versatile not to mention he a talented rapper.imo weakest song on that album was the track with eminem & gangsta boo featured.

my three favorite tracks on that album was EVERYTHING I LOVE THE MOST, LETS ROLL & ANIMAL he went off on them tracks. Animal & Everything I Love The Most shouldve been singles.

props for the mixtape leak didnt know it was that original. But as far as the album i think it was dope, i just had to not be playing madden and listen to the raps. beats were ehh but i thought they were ehh the last album and as solo artist's their beats are ehh, with ortiz being the one i dont like as a solo artist.

the album is dope - i wouldn't call the beats weak by any means - they're just A) very different than anything that SH has previously rapped over B) clearly selected due to their mainstream appeal.

and yeah i can definitely hear eminem's touch on it too - he made sure that all the songs were cohesive, had solid concepts, dope (for the most part) hooks. you know, all the elements of songs that are on multi-platinum albums that appeal to a wide variety of music (not just rap) fans. stuff that SH has previously given 2 shits about when making lyrical showcase tracks for their hardcore fans.

i still need to soak it more, but in my opinion once you get over the initial shock of hearing them over beats that they normally don't rap over its a nice album.

The album is not good, Hammer Dance is the best track no wonder it was there first single. The mixtape is ok but overall there production isn't that good from everything they have released so far. Im actually feelling Royce a lot more lately, would like to see a Royce and Crooked album but doubt that happens.
a Royce and Joe Budden album would be dope too

was a huge fan of their 1st shit but now it just isnt working for me. Seems Royce fell off the most out of the group on this album an the beats are trash aswell. i only put 6 songs from this cd on to my ipod and moved on. also got tickets to the slaughterhouse show next week but thinking of selling them.

most of the production just didnt fit the group.

if i had to put a vision to it i would say four men wearin high heel shoes, clown pants and wife beaters.

its fucked up cause being on shady records they really had the chance to bring hardcore style back to hiphop mainstream but let emo Em led they way.

Slaughterhouse Gangsta Grill Mixtape >>>>> Slaughterhouse EMO Shady album

Crooked-I was going in every time he touched the mic. He was in the zone with his bars. Em is one of the wackest producers in Hip-Hop history and his wack vision killed the album. Crooked-I needs to go back underground and stay away from Shady Records.

told yall the album was garbage lol. this a prime example of you can be a top notch lyricst but still cant drop a quality album. its all bout formula and they didnt have a good formula on this album even eminem couldnt save them.

naw he not signed to shady he signed to his own label treacherous with distro from universal or E1. so he can drop a long awaited solo if he stops stalling with it.

You guys PREFER emotionless music? Sad.

I find it funny that you refer to this album as EMO because there are MAYBE 5 "emo"/deep songs. It's actually really disappointing that there are so many BS rap songs

Hammer Dance
Throw This
Throw It Away
My Life
Flip A Bird
Frat House
Park It Sideways

and there are more that aren't deep at all.

but yeah bruh, swag swag fuck bitches in a bowl of wonton soup with your bottle of landy in hand.
