im @ you e dawg fa sho!!!! i was just watchin the ol school promo video mix did right before baby got back came out....alotta niggas need to acknowledge a legend and quit hatin...aint nobody from the region even remotly came close as far as hip hop music as mix....how many tv shows, movies, tv in general have you heard people say...i like big butts and i cannot lie?? grammy status....still eatin off that posse on broadway money...shit if anything...if mix wanted me to sign today....i would...lol....niggas hate too much out here

Here's a more recent Mix-A-Lot verse on a VERY DOPE track. This shit kinda went under the radar but is one of the best songs to come out the west in years if you ask me. Mix's verse is around 4:30.

It's funny how people hate on a musician because he / she ain't in the "spotlight" anymore and they don't take the time to even try and listen cuz it's just easier to talk shit. Just because you're not on MTV or gettin' major radio play doesn't mean shit nowadays; most of the stuff on TV and radio is crap anyway. Big propz to Mix for keepin' on it.
For those that don't know he released a cd just a few years ago called Daddy's Home.... He's far from retired. Hate on....

man i always have liked mix, grew up on that dudes music and i hear alot of cats respectin him when you bring his name up

hella cats be like, i used to mow his lawn! and shit like that.. but its always cats online talkin shit, i bet in person they bow down like a mother fucker

and LMAO @ GUCCI MANE jesus christ.. i wanted to get Brotha Lynch on a track when he was lettin em go for 15 but i couldnt do it

HE'S THE BIGGEST THING TO HAPPEN TO THE REGION TILL SOMEBODY PASSES HIM UP. I DON'T SEE WHY HE CANT CHARGE 1500 HUNID. I KNOW SOME GUYS FROM THAT SAME ERA CHARGING 1500 AND THEY NEVER SOLD OVER A MILLION RECORDS
