“Let’s see how you like it,” said the vato, as he stepped out with a baseball bat walking towards me. I looked around again and knew that there was no way we were going to get out of this situation. I counted nine cholos with them. Just as they were all stepping out of their ranflas I heard a police sired.
“What’s going on!” yelled the cop as he quickly stepped out of his vehicle, hand on his stick.
“Nothing man, nothing.” Said one of the VSL vatos. They all quickly got back into their cars and drove off. Vince started his ranfla and we also drove off before the cops decided to mess with us again. I’m not going to lie. I was glad the pigs pulled up. Vince and I were down to fight, but I knew that this time they would have killed us. As bad as we beat up their homeboys the other day, I knew they wanted revenge.
“Look ese, they’re waiting to see which way we’re going.” I said as I saw both cars a few blocks away.
“Just jam back to Barrio Apache….at least we got a better chance to find some homeboys to back us up.”
“Chale! I’m going to my tio’s chante downtown. He has a shotgun. I’m going to kill them fools!”
