LOL Southbay virgen was created by the spanish missionaries to make it easier for the natives to convert to their religion to control them. Even had them build missions/catholic churches. Guess you need to hit up some some history books. She was never meant to be idolized. Plus she wasn't a virgin anymore after that she had more children after Jesus. Assuming that you just didn't pull the random assumption that this is the case with every non-believer in such situations out of your ass.
I've known plenty of plenty of people who have gone through extreme life experiences and this only undermines they're faith in a good, loving God.
